    Abstract:
    The article discusses the current issues of introducing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into the training process of students specializing in Land Management and Cadastre. It analyzes the key areas of AI application in the educational environment and provides examples of integrating neural network algorithms into academic disciplines. Special attention is given to a practice-oriented approach, with the presentation of an author's development - a detailed plan for a practical lesson on automatic object recognition for land surveying purposes. The article concludes that the role of future specialists is transforming from an executor to an analyst-strategist.

    The chapter considers the regional education quality system as a complex social construct. Through the prism of a sociological approach, the interests and interactions of key actors (the state, educational organizations, teachers, students, parents, employers), institutional frameworks and value orientations that form ideas about quality are analyzed. Based on theoretical analysis and empirical data (questionnaires, interviews, document analysis), the latent functions of the system, social contradictions and risks are identified, recommendations are given on the development of an education quality management system, the authors propose a conceptual analysis model that can be used to develop targeted management decisions at the regional level.

    Abstract:
    The chapter examines physical culture and sport as a specific sector of the national economy, possessing a dual nature – socially oriented and commercially significant. The need for a transition from a sectoral understanding of physical culture to its interpretation as a multifunctional sector generating direct and indirect economic benefits is substantiated. The objective of the study is to systematize the criteria for the effectiveness of the physical culture sphere and to reveal the mechanisms of the multiplier effect arising from the implementation of sports programs and projects. As a result of the work, the author’s system of performance assessment indicators, differentiated by management levels (federal, regional, local) is proposed. A structural and logical model of the multiplier effect has been developed, reflecting the relationship between investments in physical culture and the growth of related industries: tourism, construction, the entertainment industry, the production of sporting goods, as well as social effects (reduced morbidity, increased labor productivity, improved demographic indicators). Key factors limiting the realization of multiplier potential are identified, and areas for improving management decisions are proposed. The chapter's materials can be used by government agencies in developing strategies for the development of physical education and sports, as well as in research and educational activities.

    Abstract:
    The need to ensure Russia's technological independence and competitiveness in the context of geopolitical struggle and sanctions pressure necessitates the implementation of a well-grounded state scientific and technical policy based on the lessons of past experience. In this regard, the generalization of the Soviet experience in managing the «science–technology–production» system, accumulated during the scientific and technological revolution (since the mid1950s) – a testing ground for which was the Ural region – deserves special attention. The regionalization of scientific and technological progress actualized the formation of a regional component within the national scientific and technical policy. The aim of the study is to examine the experience of constructing a mechanism for implementing this policy in the late Soviet period, using the Urals as a case study. The authors offer their own interpretation of the problem based on the concept of regional development, with an emphasis on analyzing the reproduction of innovations and technological progress. The research employs problem-chronological, systemic, interdisciplinary methods, as well as the method of periodization.

    This article examines the problem of managing young teachers' adaptation through the lens of an educational institution's social capital. It argues that contextual professional difficulties faced by young professionals can serve as empirical markers of a deficit in the components of a school's social capital: trust, the density of professional connections, access to information channels, and norms of mutual assistance.     The article is devoted to the study of the specifics of organizing interaction between the family and an educational organization in the formation of self-organization skills in preschool children through the optimization of time planning processes. This process is carried out by expanding the context of play and productive activities in a specialized developmental environment. The authors present a project whose structure corresponds to the algorithm for forming the basics of time management in preschool children and includes four consecutive modules. The project involves the development of a long-term plan for the joint activities of all participants in educational relations. The project's methodological basis is based on a comprehensive approach to the educational process, which aims to help children develop the ability to manage their time effectively, plan their activities consciously, and manage their resources efficiently.

    The author emphasizes that amid the global demographic transition of the 2020s, population aging is becoming a defining challenge for the sustainable development of national economies. This chapter examines the impact of changing age structure on labor market performance and long-term economic growth dynamics. The aim of the study is to identify mechanisms for the economic system's adaptation to the increasing share of older age groups and to substantiate strategies for ensuring resilience in the face of a declining working-age population. Labor shortages have been shown to act as a catalyst for accelerated robotization and the implementation of artificial intelligence systems. The integration of age-diversity programs into companies' ESG strategies has been shown to contribute to increased labor productivity. Key risks to long-term GDP associated with declining investment activity and the transformation of consumer demand have been identified. It has been substantiated that economic resilience in the face of an aging population can be achieved not through attempts to artificially «rejuvenate» the workforce, but through the development of a lifelong learning system and the technological substitution of routine operations. The results of the study can be used to adjust state demographic security strategies and corporate talent management policies.

    The chapter examines the mechanisms by which external rating management influences the development of regional energy supply systems in Russia. The author explores the theoretical foundations of rating management as a complex of organizational, information-analytical, and communicative measures aimed at interaction with independent rating institutions. A structural characterization of regional energy systems is provided, along with an analysis of the mechanisms governing their interaction with the external rating management framework through a closed-loop feedback cycle. Five principal mechanisms of rating management are identified and examined: informational, regulatory-legal, economic, organizational-managerial, and socio-psychological. Specific cases illustrating the impact of regional investment ratings, sectoral performance ratings of energy companies, credit ratings, international certification, and public monitoring on the development of regional energy systems are considered. The findings confirm that the combined effect of diverse rating management mechanisms creates a conducive environment for the advancement of regional energy systems and the enhancement of their operational efficiency.

  • Innovative approaches to inventory management in non-specialized wholesale trade

    The chapter describes the problems of commodity balance management in wholesale non-specialized trade and describes its role in meeting public needs. A special feature of this type of trade is the work with a wide range of heterogeneous goods, which creates specific difficulties in inventory management. The inventory management mechanism highlights systematic inventory accounting and control, constant work with illiquid and slow-turning goods. An analysis of the activities of Constanta Torg LLC (the main activity is wholesale and retail trade in non–specialized stores) revealed operational growth with a systemic decline in profitability. Despite the increase in revenue and gross margin, net profit is declining due to an increase in business expenses for new outlets and warehouses. Key problems have been identified: informal segmentation of the assortment, reactive work with illiquids, lack of differentiated standards, organizational separation of procurement, sales and marketing departments. It is proposed to introduce innovations for the solution.: institute of category managers, operational controlling system with KPI monitoring, digitalization of management based on Big Data. The inventory management mechanism should be integrated into the organization's digital systems to detect deviations in a timely manner. The object of the study was wholesale non-specialized trade (OKVED 46.9), the subject was the management of commodity balances of Constant Torg LLC. General scientific (analysis, synthesis, generalization) and private (observation, comparison, measurement) methods were used.

    In the theoretical part of the chapter, the basic concepts of program-targeted management of socio-economic processes of territorial development are given and developed. The epistemological roots of the emergence and modification of this tool are identified, and modern typologies of project management structures and algorithms are presented, taking into account situational conditions. In the empirical part, specific conditions are considered that accompany the dynamics of the development of project management by the Kaluga Region State Unitary Enterprise Kalugadorkazachik in planning and ensuring the implementation of the Safe and High-Quality Roads national project in the region. It is the quality of infrastructure that largely determines the standard of living of the population, the investment attractiveness and the volume of financial (as well as other) assets, and the diversification of the real sectors of the regional (municipal) economy. Therefore, the interest in innovative updates to the program and target support, the use of unused reserves, and intensification is quite natural. In this regard, the experience of the Kaluga Region can serve as a standard for the further development of many other regions of the Russian Federation.

    This chapter examines the pedagogical potential of Lao Tzu's philosophical concept of Tao through the prism of developing a harmonious personality in modern society. The author conceptualizes Tao, interpreting ancient postulates as a methodological basis for modern humanistic pedagogy. The study is based on the following provisions: 1) the limits of verbalization in education (it is proven that the essence of personality development (Tao) is broader than any formal descriptions and boundaries, which requires the teacher to move to non-linear methods of transmitting experience); 2) sensory comprehension of the world (Tao is viewed not as an abstract substance, but as a living process, comprehended through involvement with the surrounding world, which substantiates the importance of empirical and existential learning); 3) the dialectic of pedagogical discourse: Lao Tzu's use of rational and metaphorical speech is analyzed as a prototype of modern problem-based learning methods.

  • The role of information flow in shaping the "consumer society"

    Abstract:
    Currently, the social, economic, and moral problems of the "consumer society" are increasingly being explored. The article discusses the postulate that the economic behavior of modern society is greatly facilitated by the mass media, which were originally created to form an idea of "correct behavior", about fashion, about cultural preferences, and for some time now the media have begun to guide the "economic behavior" of an individual. By analyzing the content of the leading media, the paper proves that the development of industrial production required the dissemination of information about goods; corporate communication projects appeared in mass media, and in the last half century all publications have been advertising goods and services; it was the media that made the process of purchasing goods as convenient as possible, which proves the close connection between mass communication and the emergence of a "consumer society".

    Abstract:
    The article examines key trends in the digital economy and their impact on the emergence of new business models in an Arctic, resource-extracting region—the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YANAO). Based on an analysis of the region’s strategic documents and materials from the Higher School of Economics (HSE University), the paper summarizes the characteristics of digital infrastructure, the degree of engagement of residents and organizations in the use of digital services, and the managerial priorities of digital transformation. It is shown that the high penetration of broadband access and the internet creates prerequisites for market platformization, the development of “data as an asset,” remote services, and service-based models in the oil and gas sector, logistics, and the public services sector. A typology of promising business models for YANAO is proposed, and recommendations are formulated to mitigate risks when scaling digital solutions.

  • Assessment of the Academic Success of Students at a Teaching University in Terms of Their Relationship with the Results of the Uniform State Examination

    This article presents an empirical assessment of the predictive validity of the Unified State Exam (USE) results for the academic performance of students majoring in the social sciences and humanities at the Chuvash State Pedagogical University named after I. Ya. Yakovlev for 2021–2025. The aim of the study is to quantify the relationship between the average USE score in specialized subjects and academic performance, taking into account the form of funding and specialized features. Official data on the USE results of school graduates in Chuvashia, monitoring of educational trajectories, and intra-university statistics were used. Spearman correlation analysis, the Mann-Whitney U-test, and dynamic analysis were applied. It was found that an average USE score ≥70 correlates with high-quality academic performance in subject-oriented humanities programs (ρ = 0.38–0.42, p < 0.001). A significant difference in academic performance was found between state-funded and fee-paying students (r = 0.39–0.58), indicating the role of motivational factors. In creative profiles, no statistically significant relationship was found between the results of the Unified State Exam and academic performance (ρ < 0.15, p > 0.05). The results confirm the need for a differentiated approach to applicant selection and the development of support programs for them.

    Abstract:
    В статье рассматриваются особенности биологии, распространения и экологии двух видов пустельг – обыкновенной (Falco tinnunculus) и степной (Falco naumanni) – на территории Алтайского края. Охарактеризованы предпочитаемые гнездовые биотопы: для обыкновенной пустельги – мозаичные сельскохозяйственные ландшафты с берёзово-осиновыми колками и лесополосами; для степной – степные участки с выходами скальных обнажений, каменистыми развалами и глинистыми обрывами. Описаны особенности питания, включая зависание в воздухе как охотничью стратегию обыкновенной пустельги и способность видеть в ультрафиолетовом спектре. Отмечено снижение численности обоих видов в регионе. Выделены лимитирующие факторы: сокращение местообитаний, отравление пестицидами, гибель на опорах ЛЭП. Обоснована роль пустельг как индикаторов состояния окружающей среды и регуляторов численности мышевидных грызунов.

Based on statistical data, strategic documents, national projects, and state programs, the article analyzes the standard of living and quality of life of the population of the Murmansk Region as a constituent entity of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.     Based on the existing developments of the Digital Economy national project, it can be said that, despite the problems that arise at the beginning of working with new software, the often difficult adaptation of personnel, the lack of sufficient professional personnel at the initial stage of software implementation, as well as other problematic issues, the global process of import substitution in the Russian Federation cannot be stopped. It is the study of this process that forms the basis of the proposed material. Based on the selection of criteria for the management algorithms of the Kaluga Astral group of companies working in the field of information technology, new innovative ways of development are being sought, and non-standard solutions are being proposed to improve the existing management system.
