On the Problem of Ethno-National Education of Artschool

- Abstract:
- Summary. The article is devoted to the study of the relevant issue in today’s world – the study of theoretical premises of modern concepts of ethno-national education. It examines the problems of educating the culture of interethnic relations in the youth environment. The relevance of the study is due to the need for the formation of attitudes towards interethnic tolerance among students, which determines the goal of the educational activities of each educational institution. The purpose of the article is to consider the theoretical foundations of ethno-national education and the possibilities of their practical application in educational work with students of a higher educational institution. The work was carried out at the empirical level of the structure of sociological knowledge. Methods of observation, questioning, interviewing and generalization of pedagogical experience allowed the author to determine the direction of work in the field of ethnic education of students. Based on the research carried out, the author draws conclusions about the quality of work in the field of ethno-national education of students at the university and offers recommendations for its improvement. The study showed predominantly supra-ethnic self-awareness of young people. Another unusual result of the study is a small percentage of students who speak their native (non-Russian) language – only 20 percent of the respondents. It is proposed that the parameters set require the pursuance of bigger researches on a nationwide scale.

- The most relevant and useful for today's Russia and its historical heritage is, first of all, the tradition of the organic unity of our peoples, which was developed and postponed in the course of our history as a result of everyday exercises in justice, mutual respect and harmony. Despite the fact that every Russian people has its own traditions, customs, languages, and heroic past – together they make up a common heritage. To revive it, to always remember it – and not lose sight of it – is the urgent task of time. We must believe that the troubled times, poverty and disenfranchisement of ordinary people-workers, disrespect for the moral and legal norms of human society are a temporary phenomenon. - This article raises and discusses the main issues related to the technologies of working in conflict situations in the adolescent environment. Speaking about the conflict in adolescence, it is worth noting that scientists agree that it is communication with peers that is most significant for a teenager and largely determines all other aspects of his behavior and activity, personal development. Consequently, disagreements in the peer group, the struggle for status leads to a conflict of the parties. In this regard, we decided to develop technologies of psychological and pedagogical influence in working with conflict adolescents. We have developed a model of consistent work of actions, which will be aimed at preventing conflicts in the adolescent environment, as well as the formation of their stress resistance, self-control and self-control.

Socio-Pedagogical Context of Upbringing and Education

- Abstract:
- The article is devoted to discussing social and pedagogical context for the processes of upbringing and education. The purpose of the study is to disclose the specifics of upbringing and education contributing to positive socialization of the individual in the circumstances when the social component of modern life has gained greater significance. The research methods include the study and analysis of academic and pedagogical publications on the discussed issue. The article examines integration and differentiation as trends in the progress of modern pedagogical science. The author highlights the issue of interconnection and independence between general pedagogy, social pedagogy and other human sciences. The idea of social context for traditional pedagogical processes of education and instruction is argued in the article. The author focuses on transformation that these processes undergo in the present-day context for an individual’s social development, as well as on risks and barriers in solving educational problems arising in that context. The article reveals the role performed by child’s upbringing and education as factors of positive socialization. The author presents her standing in viewing the concept of “positive socialization”, and in defining the role of positive thinking in this process. The article also suggests there is a need for socio-pedagogical support for an individual’s positive socialization. The concept and content of socio-pedagogical support of a student in the process of upbringing and education is briefly revealed. The author concludes by stating a demand to modify methodology of researching processes of education and instruction in the domain of an individual’s socialization.

"Four Pieces on Lute Music Themes of the XVI and XVII Centuries" by S.N. Vasilenko: in the Context of Art

- The relevance of the article is related to the process of studying ensemble disciplines, because students due to this process need to create a three-dimensional representation of the work of the studied composer. The purpose of the article is an acquaintance with a number of compositions to create a convincing artistic interpretation of the work. Methods – description, observation, representation. The article presents an overview of the heritage of one of the prominent figures of Russian musical art in the first half of the XX century – Sergey Nikiforovich Vasilenko, who had a well-deserved respect among admirers of the academic style and traditions of the Moscow school of composition. The focus is on the review of chamber and ensemble music by S.N. Vasilenko, which reflects the specifics of the composer's creative thinking: a colorful sound palette, an appeal to the folklore heritage of Eastern peoples, original instrumental compositions, and ancient music of Western European composers. Results: substantiation of the author's idea in creating an exquisite program suite "Four pieces on themes of lute music of the XVI–XVII centuries" for cello (or viola) and piano (1918). This is one of the first works for viola written by S.V. Vasilenko in the post-October period of art, rarely performed and practically not found in educational practice. Conclusion: this cycle is the basis for further study of chamber literature for viola in historical dynamics and perspective.

- The article deals with the technology of development of student’s creative thinking using the means of folk pedagogy in English lessons. It reveals the concept of creativity, which is a manifestation and creation of fundamentally new ideas, differing from traditional or accepted patterns of thinking and entering the structure of cleverness as an independent factor. The authors note that the use of centuries-old wisdom of the people, expressed in proverbs and folk sayings, riddles, folk games, fairy tales and other means of folk pedagogy in the educational process, contributes greatly to the development of creative thinking in students. The article identifies the didactic conditions, principles and criteria for the selection of material based on the folk pedagogy experience in the process of learning English. The suggested technology describes the process of comparing the English and Kazakh cultures. The technology provides for the quick memorization of new words, English speech comprehension, analysis and systematization of information.

- The article reveals some features of the innovative specialization «Ethnophonics». The purpose of the article is to actualize its significance for education and culture in Belarus. Based on the methods of generalizing pedagogical experience, the scientific and methodological activity of the Department of Ethnology and Folklore of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts in teaching students authentic folklore was studied and generalized. The research results revealed the actual content of students' professional training and determined the priority pedagogical task – the development of the spiritual values of traditional culture. Conclusion: it is necessary to teach students authentic sound through the disclosure of the semantics of traditional rites and their practical reconstruction.
