  • Choosing a programming language for high school students

    Abstract:
    Currently, special attention is paid to the content of the training of schoolchildren in computer science. Interest in software development and code writing methods is growing every year. This is due to the change in methods and means of training in the field of writing program code associated with the emergence and development of new paradigms and programming languages. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the choice of a programming language for the preparation of high school students in the field of programming and solving the tasks of the Unified State Exam in computer science. Materials and methods of research: in the course of the research, a theoretical approach was used: the study, systematization and analysis of theoretical materials, scientific and methodological resources for teaching programming to schoolchildren, demos, test tasks, manuals, educational websites for preparing for the Unified State Exam in computer science, as well as many years of experience in teaching schoolchildren and students the basics of programming. Research results and their discussion: Programming languages PascalABC.NET and Python are currently the most popular in school education. The article analyzes the possibilities of these programming systems and the prospects of their application in teaching high school students the basics of programming. Examples of solving typical problems from the Unified State Exam in computer science in both languages are given to compare the speed and efficiency of the code. Conclusions. Language PascalABC.NET it has a number of advantages and can be recommended as a language for teaching programming. The language is high-performance, well structured, has strict typing and is adapted to the tasks of the Unified State Exam in computer science. When teaching future programmers, the basics of writing code, it is advisable to combine languages PascalABC.NET and Python.

  • The importance of electronic musical creativity in the training of a music teacher at a university

    Abstract:
    The article summarizes the experience of training music teachers, combining the traditional music-pedagogical content of university educational programs with the introduction of students to various forms of electronic music creativity. The relevance is due to the fact that electronic music creativity based on the mastery of music-computer technologies and electronic musical instruments is of great importance in modern music art and education. In this regard, there is a need for special training of teachers for professional activity in this direction, which is confirmed by scientific research of scientists devoted to various aspects of electronic music creativity (I. B. Gorbunova, I. M. Krasilnikov, A. A. Pankova, V. O. Malashchenko, etc.). At the same time, the study of the content of bachelor's degree programs in pedagogical universities of Russia has shown that electronic music creativity is not sufficiently reflected in the educational process. The aim of the research is to provide theoretical grounding and practical confirmation of the need to include disciplines related to electronic music creativity in the educational programs of pedagogical universities. The study, conducted in 2013-2023, involved students of the Faculty of Art and Music Education of the Chuvash State Pedagogical University. Research methods: theoretical analysis of scientific and methodological literature; analysis of the current state of university practice in the field of the problem under study; empirical research methods (observation, conversation, survey); retrospective analysis of their own teaching experience; analysis of the obtained data. As a result of the conducted work the insufficient attention to the indicated problem in the system of university training of teachers-musicians was revealed, the necessity of introducing students to electronic musical creativity in the process of training in the university was substantiated, the effectiveness of disciplines of this orientation in the development of cognitive interest in learning activities and creative self-realization of students was confirmed, classroom and extracurricular forms of introducing students to electronic musical creativity were shown. Conclusions. Mastering of electronic music creation by future teachers is a necessary condition for the professional training of a modern music teacher. It will contribute to the successful training of teachers who are able to professionally use the possibilities of music and computer technologies in the pedagogical process.

    The chapter substantiates the importance of mastering competencies related to the implementation of public speech for professionally oriented teaching of foreign languages. The author shares experience of teaching public speaking while training future specialists in the field of political science, and describes the model of preparing public speeches. As an example, the public speech of Bono, a well-known activist and leader of U2, is analyzed, and examples of the expressive means used by him are given. This speech can be used as a sample when teaching public speaking to students.

  • Approbation of the Bachelor's preparation model for sports selection

    Abstract:
    The great importance of sports selection to increase the interest and motivation of the younger generation to go in for sports, identify the most promising athletes, achieve the highest results in the chosen sport by athletes, increase the competitiveness of domestic athletes on the world stage, require the training of highly qualified specialists who are able to carry out sports selection at various stages of a long-term training process and in different types of sports disciplines. But, the complexity and multidimensionality of sports selection, due to the wide variety of sports, complicates the process of creating a unified methodology for sports selection. This produces difficulties in the training of specialists capable of competent and effective implementation of the sports selection methodology. To overcome the formed contradiction between the high need of society for the implementation of sports selection and the lack of qualified specialists in physical culture, ready for the full and effective implementation of the sports selection methodology, we conducted a study. The purpose of the study is the development and implementation of pedagogical conditions that ensure the functioning of the model for the formation of bachelors' readiness in the direction of preparation “Physical culture” for the implementation of the sports selection methodology. Materials and methods. The study was conducted on the basis of the Mari State University in the period from 2017 to 2022, with the participation of 300 students of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism. In the course of the study, the methods of theoretical analysis, pedagogical experiment, control tests, questionnaires, and the proximetric method were applied. Conclusions. The results were obtained, indicating that the implementation of the developed pedagogical conditions contributes to a significant increase in the motivational, cognitive, activity and reflexive readiness of bachelors in the direction of training “Physical culture” to implement the methodology of sports selection.

    The chapter reveals some specific aspects of the study of Ancient Greek heritage by students of Ural State Forestry University (Yekaterinburg) studying in the field of tourism in the course of "Stylistic Concepts in World Art".     The problem of an integrated approach to the ecologization of domestic education is important and relevant in the context of the formation of a sustainable development worldview in society. The inclusion of the basics of environmental education in the training program for drivers of various categories in driving schools is an important aspect of environmental education for adults. To date, issues related to the negative impact on the environment of vehicles and ways to minimize it are not included in the training programs at driving schools. In the chapter, using the method of ecological and economic assessment, it is proposed to assess what damage to the environment can be prevented if environmental issues are included in the educational programs of driving schools. Fostering a responsible attitude to the environment in the new generation of drivers is an important component of the development of ecological culture.

    Abstract:
    In team sports, a significant role belongs to the team characteristics of the personality of athletes. In recent years, cheerleading has grown as one of the most popular extreme sports. The purpose of the study was to study the psychological characteristics of the personality of cheerleading athletes, aimed at team building and reducing injuries. To achieve this goal, V.K. Gerbachevsky’s “Level of claims”, C.D. Spielberger and Y.L. Khanin’s “Personal and situational anxiety”. V.V. Boyko’s “Communicative tolerance” methods were chosen. Based on the results of the analysis, a psychological model of a correctional program developed and implemented, aimed at team building and reducing the anxiety of athletes. Athletes of 15–16 years of cheerleading of the first (n = 15), including the introduction of the model of the program and the second composition (n = 15), who were engaged in the usual program, examined. It conducted the studies in natural conditions during cheerleading training. The program included psychological training and teamwork on complex acrobatic elements for 60 days. The received data processed using the methods of mathematical statistics with the calculation of M±m ±(. The significance of differences was determined by Student’s t-test for parametric data. It performed the correlation analysis using the Pearson correlation coefficient (r) and the coefficient of determination (R2). The study results showed that, in order to form a team and reduce injuries in it, team sports should consider age patterns and developmental features. When developing models of correctional programs, one should focus in the training process not only on developing the skills of joint movements of athletes, but pay special attention to the formation of such team characteristics as trust, responsibility, mutual understanding, mutual respect, tolerance. Particular attention should pay to the relationship between the team and the coach, who responsibility for team ethics and a comfortable environment in the team of athletes.

  • Female artistic gymnasts’ conditioning under the background of the Code of Points

    Competitive routines in artistic gymnastics are composed according to the Code of Points, which current variant highly encourages program difficulty. The need to acquire new elements of a high difficulty value and incorporate them tightly in their routines increases stress on gymnasts’ conditioning, based on materials of modern scientific works. The objective of the study was to determine the effect of the current code of points in artistic gymnastics on elite gymnasts’ conditioning. Strength training makes basis to conditioning in modern artistic gymnastics. Its choice should be dictated by an athlete’s dominant discipline. In order to satisfy modern difficulty requirements in one’s performance on uneven bars one needs exceptional upper body and upper limbs strength, in floor exercises – developed leg power and special endurance, in vault – high degree of speed, on balance beam – the ability to balance.

    The authors presented an approach to teaching foreign language monolog speech to students in multi-level groups, including numerous ones. These skills acquire particular relevance within the professional teachers’ training context: later on they teach speaking skills to their ESL students. The approach is based on video lectures hosted by TED, which are used as reference texts for students to build their own monologs. The authors outlined the principles and presented the algorithm of work. The important components are listening to the lecture (exposure to example) and redoing the speaking.

    This paper focuses on the continuity in lifelong teachers training development framework, provided by all stages of education. Presently, continuity is a factor of competitiveness and the main component of its development. The purpose of the study is to identify the conceptual foundations of the continuity in lifelong teachers training development framework within the pedagogical studio. The research methods are theoretical, general scientific and empirical methods, statistical methods, etc. Firstly, we highlighted the factors of continuity in lifelong teachers training development framework such as targeted, substantive, technological, psychological and pedagogical, managerial, procedural. Secondly, we highlighted the components of the system of continuing professional pedagogical education. They are conceptual, substantive, procedural, emotional, methodological and analytical. Thirdly, we considered the pedagogical studio as a means of implementing continuity. Then, individual educational path were examined. Theoretical and practical results are the following: based on the program-target method the continuity in lifelong teachers training development framework contributes to teacher's personality development.

    The satisfaction of students of the Engineering and Physics Faculty of High Technologies of USU with the quality of online learning during the pandemic was studied. The criteria and indicators of satisfaction with online learning are determined based on the implementation of expectations from online learning and the social and professional adaptation of students to online conditions. The diagnostic tools included a questionnaire to identify the implementation of students ' expectations from online learning and a methodology for its processing. The level of adaptation was measured by a seven-level scale of self-assessment of psychological comfort in online and offline classes. The results of the study showed a fairly high level of student satisfaction with the study of natural sciences and humanities online.

    In the chapter describes the experience of prevention of maladaptation of first-year students, including the diagnosis of personality traits, identification of students at risk and psycho-corrective measures. The introduction substantiates the relevance of the problem of effective adaptation and prevention of maladaptation of first-year students, the importance of creating targeted systematic work with first-year students to prevent maladaptation. Materials and methods of research. In order to identify the risk group of students for various types of maladaptation and develop recommendations to reduce the level of maladaptation in first-year students, we conducted diagnostics of the personal characteristics of first-year students using the method of multifactorial personality research SMIL L.N. Sobchik Results and discussion of the results of the study. Based on the results of psychodiagnostics, we have developed recommendations for the risk group for hyposthenic /depressive type of maladjustment and for the risk group for the type of maladjustment «autism», including individual consultations, the inclusion of students in groups of psychological trainings on relevant topics, consultations for teachers and curators of groups on individual approach in interaction with students at risk, participation students in the work of a psychological circle in order to improve the psychological culture of students, etc. Conclusions. The work done made it possible to reduce the percentage of maladaptation of students and increase the efficiency of adaptation of first-year students to the process of studying at the university, which manifested itself in a significant decrease in the percentage of students expelled by the result of the 1st year of study.

    In work the urgency of the problem of the development of professional competencies is substantiated, since future medical workers have a contradiction between their psychological readiness and practical abilities to perform professional labor functions. Professional and creative self-realization was not previously considered as a value-target reference point for the professional training of specialists in the field of culture, which makes our study relevant, given the current priorities of higher education. The model of the process of training specialists in the sphere of culture for professional and creative self-realization developed by the author is built in accordance with the logic of a holistic approach in the unity of its internal structure (goal – content – means – result). In the process of implementing the model, a gradual increase in the quality of formation of the studied readiness was carried out. In the system of pedagogical means to form the readiness of specialists for professional and creative self-realization, innovative technologies (playing, projective, creative) are leading. The implementation of these technologies contributed to the acquisition of experience in personal, professional and professional-creative self-realization by future specialists in the field of culture. The special course «Theory and methods of training specialists for professional and creative self-realization» developed by the author is aimed at summarizing and mobilizing the knowledge of a block of general professional and special disciplines, developing special professional abilities (projective, pedagogical, creative) of professional qualities (creativity, general professional competence, competitiveness), as well as the gradual formation of readiness for personal, professional and professional-creative self-realization.

  • Optimization of Mental States and Interpersonal Relationships of Children in Preschool

    Abstract:
    Introduction. The article is devoted to the problem of optimizing the psychological states of children through the formation of their interpersonal states with a teacher and peers. Relevance. Based on the analysis of literary sources, it was revealed that violations of relationships with teachers have a negative impact on the formation of interpersonal relationships of children in the group of preschool educational institutions and on mental states. This was the basis for the development and implementation of a comprehensive program to optimize the mental states and relationships of children in their relationship. Violations of relationships with teachers have a negative impact not only on mental states, but also on the formation of interpersonal relationships of children in the group of preschool educational institutions. This makes it necessary to develop a program of socio-psychological training for teachers and the need to work towards the harmonization of relations among peers. The purpose of the study is to determine the psychological and pedagogical conditions for optimizing mental states in the process of forming positive interpersonal relationships in a group of preschool educational institutions. Research methods. The article uses theoretical methods of research: analysis of domestic and foreign methodological sources, results of psychological and pedagogical research, study of the resources of educational portals of the Internet, generalization of materials of scientific and practical conferences, forums; practical methods: observation, interviewing, survey, questionnaire, mathematical and statistical methods of processing results (the criterion r is used – Pearson's linear correlation coefficient, etc.). Results and discussion. The author offers the results of a study of the relationship between interpersonal relationships with a teacher and peers with mental states, describes the author's program for optimizing the mental states of children in the pre-school group through the formation of interpersonal relationships. Diagnostic methods are proposed to determine the teacher's attitude to children, interpersonal relationships of children in the preschool group, the actor's method "Mishkin's family" in order to identify the mental states of children determined in relations with the teacher and peers. Conclusions. In our opinion, it is the complex of psychological impact on teachers, coupled with psychological and pedagogical impact on children, that will contribute to a significant increase in the level of interpersonal relationships of children in the immediate social environment and reduce the indicators of negative mental states.

    When selecting equivalent and adequate translation solutions in transferring industrial terminology in the Russian & English language pair, attention is normally focused on rendering lexical units that make up the term. Grammatical features of terminological units are established, however, considered a characteristic of the original language, which in the target language can be subject to translation transformations. Nevertheless, grammatical arrangement of terms can be used to codify production technology is overlooked. Accordingly, translation of terminology should reflect selection of adequate equivalents not only in terms of language correspondences, but also account for reflecting the encoded technology by the term. To test this hypothesis we used the continuous sampling method. Terms of Siberian the cosmetic & food industry were selected in Russian texts, their equivalents were identified in parallel English texts, a structural and semantic analysis of the terms in the original language was carried out, translation transformations applied in the translation were established, the degree of adequacy in the transfer of the encoded production technology in the target language was identified. The established results are recommended to be used in practical translation disciplines of the «Translation and Translation Studies» profile, as well as in the development of the Theory of Translation courses.
