- Abstract:
- In this chapter, we examined such a phenomenon as speaking and methods of developing speaking skills in foreign language classes. One of the effective and productive means of developing these students’ skills in the process of learning English is the immersion method. This method helps to overcome the fear of starting communication, makes the learning process more exciting, increases the motivation of students and gives rise to the desire of learning all the nuances of the language being studied. As practice shows, this method is the most effective and allows you to provide ever-increasing confidence, facilitate the transition from learning to self-learning.

Cognitive and pragmatic characteristic of S. King’s work “Pet Cematary”: experience in comparative analysis of original and translated texts
Review Article
Ethnic Culture Volume 5 No 3- Authors:
- Sofiia N. Semenova, Anna V. Zhandarova, Denis N. Sekunov
- Work direction:
- World languages and literature
- Abstract:
- The work is devoted to the analysis of the novel by S. King “Pet Cematary” in the original English and Russian versions in a comparative aspect. The purpose of the article is a cognitive-pragmatic characterization of texts based on lexical units. The authors of the study solve the following tasks: a comparative analysis of the linguistic features of the texts of the work, the presentation of the most striking examples from a linguocultural point of view, the semantic interpretation of lexical units. The novelty of the study lies in the attempt to analyze the text of the novel in two languages in a comparative way (the authors of the article chose two versions of the translation into Russian, made by I. A. Bagrov and T. Yu. Pokidaeva). The data obtained during the study of texts reflect the culture and lexicon of the contemporaries of the authors of the translation, which is important for modern scientific research in the field of studying vocabulary, both from the structural and content sides. In the process of reviewing the material, the methods of continuous sampling, classification and interpretation were used. The analysis carried out helped to reveal the specifics of the perception of information in different periods of time. The lack of accuracy in the transfer of lexical units in translated works determines the need for further research in this direction.

The Ethics of visibility in the context of Z. Bauman's Post-Panoptic Society
Proceeding
Socio-Economic Processes of Modern Society- Author:
- Anastasia S. Bolshakova
- Work direction:
- Социальные процессы в контексте глобализации
- Abstract:
- The article deals with the situation of the visibility of subjects (observation of them) in a digital society, which, in terms of Zygmunt Bauman, should be described as post-panoptical. Panopticism has lost its popularity in the era of digital hegemony, post-panoptical surveillance has become extraterritorial, thus spreading far beyond social institutions and expanding the horizons of possibilities for forms of suppression and control. Observation no longer affects subjects directly, but their data, digital traces, and since in the conditions of digitalization virtual self-representation is the dominant way of legitimizing the Self through others, identity completely turns from a long-term, “subjective” substance into an object. Post-panoptical surveillance of “objectified” individuals reveals the paradoxes of visibility and raises a number of acute ethical issues, thereby revealing the need for an ethics of visibility as a regulator of the conditions of mass surveillance.

- Work direction:
- Pedagogy and Modern Education
- Abstract:
- The great importance of sports selection to increase the interest and motivation of the younger generation to go in for sports, identify the most promising athletes, achieve the highest results in the chosen sport by athletes, increase the competitiveness of domestic athletes on the world stage, require the training of highly qualified specialists who are able to carry out sports selection at various stages of a long-term training process and in different types of sports disciplines. But, the complexity and multidimensionality of sports selection, due to the wide variety of sports, complicates the process of creating a unified methodology for sports selection. This produces difficulties in the training of specialists capable of competent and effective implementation of the sports selection methodology. To overcome the formed contradiction between the high need of society for the implementation of sports selection and the lack of qualified specialists in physical culture, ready for the full and effective implementation of the sports selection methodology, we conducted a study. The purpose of the study is the development and implementation of pedagogical conditions that ensure the functioning of the model for the formation of bachelors' readiness in the direction of preparation “Physical culture” for the implementation of the sports selection methodology. Materials and methods. The study was conducted on the basis of the Mari State University in the period from 2017 to 2022, with the participation of 300 students of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism. In the course of the study, the methods of theoretical analysis, pedagogical experiment, control tests, questionnaires, and the proximetric method were applied. Conclusions. The results were obtained, indicating that the implementation of the developed pedagogical conditions contributes to a significant increase in the motivational, cognitive, activity and reflexive readiness of bachelors in the direction of training “Physical culture” to implement the methodology of sports selection.

- Galina S. Samigullina
- Work direction:
- Ethno-Cultural Problems of Education
- Abstract:
- The purpose of the work is to substantiate the meta-subject approach to teaching geography on the example of studying the life of ethnic groups. Based on the methods of analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature and technological maps of lessons taken from teachers' websites; designing the meta-subject content of educational tasks in the course of school geography, the need to use the subject and meta-subject approach in their totality was identified and justified. The author's assignments for the development of basic logical actions among students and the formation of interdisciplinary concepts were developed with the involvement of knowledge, methods of activity and concepts of related disciplines on the example of studying the life and life of the Eskimos in the subarctic tundra. The meta-subject approach made it possible to realize the pedagogical potential of geography in the educational process using the knowledge of history, biology, physics, and chemistry. Interdisciplinary concepts were revealed in the study of the dwellings of the Eskimos. The results of the study were tested in the system of advanced training for teachers of geography, biology, chemistry, physics; in the system of training future teachers of geography and ecology. The developed complex integrated tasks, in which universal learning activities require a logical continuation using interdisciplinary concepts, can be used in the study of disciplines at the bachelor’s-lauric level “Project activity in education”, the master’s program “Formation of meta-subject learning outcomes in geography”.

Didactic and aesthetic features of Ivan Yakovlev's stories
Review Article
Development of education Volume 6 No 1- Author:
- Inessa V. Iadranskaia
- Work direction:
- Pedagogy and Modern Education
- Abstract:
- The literary creativity of I.Ya. Yakovlev is analyzed in this article. It's noted that his works harmoniously combine didactic and aesthetic features. In the history of the Chuvash literature I.Ya. Yakovlev became one of the founders of the Chuvash juvenile literature. His stories are distinguished by vivid imagery and language simplicity. The heroes of the works (people, animals, plants) are characters close to understanding, living next to young readers. The relevance of the study stems from the fact that the works of I.Ya. Yakovlev can be widely used in the moral and spiritual education of preschool and primary schoolers. In this regard, the purpose of this article was to focus attention on the fact that when analyzing the writer's stories, it is necessary to consider the Chuvash national mentality, didactic and aesthetic features at the same level. Only such an analysis contributes to a deeper understanding of the main idea of the work. The research subject is Ivan Yakovlev's short stories-miniatures and scientific research of Chuvash literary critics. As part of the study, the following results were obtained: folklore becomes a significant phenomenon in Yakovlev's stories, his work became the first step and the basis of the Chuvash juvenile literature.

Peculiarities of the Spot the Nonsense method performance in 5-year-old children with level III general delay in speech development. (report 1)
Research Article
Development of education Volume 6 No 1- Author:
- Oksana M. Kovalenko
- Work direction:
- Psychology in Education
- Abstract:
- The introduction describes the features of thinking, perception and analyzing observation of children with ONR, which make it difficult to correctly analyze and evaluate visual information. The research methodology is the task «Nelepies» in the version presented by R.S. Nemov. The results of the study provide generalized quantitative results for individual absurdities. Qualitative analysis captures the correct answers and reveals the mechanisms of children's erroneous answers. Qualitative characteristics of the analysis carried out by normally developing children and children with OHP (III level) aged 5 years when considering this image are presented: options for explaining inconsistencies (whether everything is drawn correctly) and options for clarifying answers (how it should actually be). For each option for explaining and clarifying discrepancies, generalized quantitative data and a quantitative difference between the results of normally developing children and children with OHP (III level) are given. All variants of explanations and clarifications are illustrated by the children's answers and presented in accordance with the quantitative difference between the indicators of children with normal speech development and GR (III level). At the same time, variants with a quantitative predominance in the norm, variants with a quantitative predominance in OHP (level III) and variants that are noted only in OHP (level III) are indicated. In conclusion, a sequence of established options for explanations and clarifications is presented in terms of the degree of quantitative difference between the indicators of normally developing children and children with OHP (level III) from a larger difference to a smaller one.
