  • On the Issue of Holding Meetings of Student Scientific Study Groups of a Medical University During the Period of Unfavorable Epidemiological Situation

    Abstract:
    This paper considers the «problem of choice» of holding meetings of student scientific circles of the departments of operative surgery with topographic anatomy (OKHITA) and medical informatics and statistics (MIIS) N.N. Burdenko VSMU. This topic is currently very relevant, since the pandemic of a new coronavirus infection continues in Russia and around the world. At the beginning of the article, the information on the use of specialized electronic programs and electronic educational environments in the complex educational process is provided; the issues of their use at various stages of distance learning during an unfavorable epidemiological situation are analysed. However, according to the authors, very little attention is paid to additional aspects of the complex educational process, which are various student comeptitions, student scientific circles and student scientific societies. The aim of the work was an attempt to determine the form of meetings of the Council of People's Commissars of departments of various orientations (theoretical and practical), to determine the attitude of the respondents themselves – representatives of the teaching staff and students to the form of holding meetings of the Council of People's Commissars, depending on the epidemiological situation, and also to choose the most suitable electronic educational environment or computer program. The objects of the study were 50 employees of various departments of N.N. Burdenko VSMU (from among the teaching staff, who made up 1 group of subjects) and 100 students of the medical faculty – 2 and 4 years (who made up the 2 and 3 groups of subjects). The study was based on anonymous questionnaires. It was found that regardless of the direction of the department (practical – OKHITA or theoretical – MIiS), many respondents advocated the traditional (face-to-face) meetings of the Council of People's Commissars, subject to the normalization of the epidemiological situation. However, as it worsened, the majority favored remote, online, meetings of the Council of People's Commissars. An «interesting» result was obtained when processing the results of choosing an electronic platform for holding meetings of the Council of People's Commissars. So, despite the presence in N.N. Burdenko VSMU, specialized electronic educational environments, the «winner» and a kind of choice of respondents was the computer program «Zoom». The obvious choice of university staff from among the teaching staff and students makes it possible to recommend this program as a kind of «platform» for holding meetings of student scientific communities and circles.

    Abstract:
    In modern theory and practice of education, preventive activity is considered as one of the main in the prevention of aggressive behavior in various subjects of the educational environment. Aggression is most clearly manifested among students of a sports college who are mastering professional training programs in contact sports. It is noted that aggressive behavior affects the formation of certain risks for the educational environment of the college and its subjects. In this regard, pedagogical prevention is aimed at the formation of appropriate competence in students, as a result of which future athletes develop skills of reflection of aggressive behavior, protection and self-regulation of the psycho-emotional state during educational and training processes.

    Abstract:
    The paper presents the results of the research of the local educational environment` psychological safety for students of psychology of Irkutsk State University. Significant differences in psychological safety and security level between students of different years were found, for example, satisfaction of the local educational environment and educational safety of 3rd year students appeared to be a lot lower, which can be related to critical point in their primary professionalization. A substantial share of psychologically unsafe and insecure students was also detected. They obviously need a special psychological support.

    The problem of development of communicative culture of modern high school seniors for modern pedagogical science on the basis of the needs the permission of the identified contradictions is revealed in the article. The author proposes the solution to indicated problem by utilizing the potential of intergenerational learning and interaction in mixed-age groups.     To create a psychologically safe educational process, the most important components will be the personal characteristics of the participants in the educational process. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of hardiness of future specialists with different strategies of self-affirmation as a fac-tor affecting the psychological safety in the educational environment. It is vitality that is one of the basic characteristics that allows participants in the educational process not only to overcome life circumstances and adapt to constantly changing conditions, but also to become stronger, qualitatively improving the standard of living, physical and psychological health. An analysis of the empirical data obtained was presented, as well as the features of psychological and pedagogical support aimed at increasing the resilience of individuals with different self-affirmation strategies.

    The results of a diagnostic study of teachers of the Department of natural Sciences in the process of their remote work with students are present in the article. The study was aimed at identifying the main problems faced by teachers of higher education institutions when working remotely. Based on the results of the research, a program of psychological and pedagogical support for creating a safe educational environment was formed in order to eliminate emerging problems and effectively implement professional activities. The program is based on the results of a diagnostic study of the digital educational environment, analysis of the necessary professional qualities of teachers for safe inclusion in it and its application.

    Abstract:
    The prevention of occupational burnout among medical students with the use of means and methods of physical culture during their learning period is examined in the article. Occupational burnout, that appears in person's inability to restrain one's emotions which leads to the exhaustion of one's organism, may emerge among specialists of various professions which in most cases leads to psychologic stress. Negative symptoms of professional hazard most commonly appear among medical workers. Same symptoms of occupational burnout may also apear among medical students during their learning period. This burnout build-up and the lack of preventative activities lead to serious consequences for students including suicidal thoughts.

The study involved 1,177 students 11–19 years old. We use comparative analysis for independent samples formed on the basis of a preference for distance or full-time learning as statistical analysis methods. The results of the study allow to analyze the role of psychological safety in ensuring the effectiveness of the educational process.
