- Abstract:
- This article explores the life and work of Cecilia Ivanovna Depner, a key figure in the history of private education for girls in the Voronezh province. It examines Depner's biography, the circumstances of the founding and operation of her boarding school (1829–1870), its curriculum, and educational system. It also examines the school's place among other private educational institutions for girls in Voronezh from the 1820s to the 1850s, and analyzes the reasons for its longevity and high reputation. It concludes that Ts.I. Depner's boarding school became a significant phenomenon in the region's system of girls' education, largely compensating for the lack of state-run girls' gymnasiums in the first half of the 19th century and creating an educational environment in demand by several generations of Voronezh families.

- Abstract:
- The article considers the problem of correcting postural disorders in female students in the frontal and sagittal planes, arising against the background of prolonged static load during the educational process. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of using functional training means in comparison with the standard university physical education program. During a one-semester pedagogical experiment, the experimental group (n=18) used specially designed sets of functional exercises with an emphasis on core stabilizing muscles. A significant improvement in the strength endurance of the back and abdominal muscles, as well as the shoulder index, in the experimental group confirms the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.

- Abstract:
- The scientific study conducted a comprehensive analysis of the existing entrance test programs for the direction 03/54.01 Design in the fields of «Graphic Design» and «Costume Design» at leading universities in Russia. Two main models of applicant selection have been identified: traditional, focused on academic skills, and modern, focusing on project training. It is established that the current competitive selection system requires modernization due to general trends in higher education and society as a whole. Research has shown the need to shift the focus from assessing the professional skills developed to identifying the adaptive potential and conceptual thinking of applicants. A model for the modernization of the entrance test program is proposed, integrating traditional methods of assessing artistic literacy with modern diagnostic tools for project competencies. The developed concept aims to attract a contingent of students who meet the requirements of modern design education, and provides an objective approach to evaluating work, taking into account the diverse training of applicants and their professional self-determination.

The role of the educational museum in modern design education
Book ChapterDesign in higher education: strategies, technologies and training methods- Author:
- Svetlana V. Deineka
- Work direction:
- Глава 8
- Abstract:
- The chapter justifies the relevance of establishing an art museum at the Institute of Creative Industries (ICI) at Don State Technical University (DSTU) in Rostov‑on‑Don. Drawing on the long‑term experience of university museums in Russia and abroad, as well as on modern educational approaches, the author proposes considering the museum not only as a repository of cultural values, but also as a multifunctional educational and exhibition space integrated into the educational process. Special attention is paid to the potential role of the museum in shaping the professional competencies of future designers. At the stage of designing and creating the museum space, it is planned to actively involve students from various faculties, which will make it possible to implement interdisciplinary projects and ensure practice‑oriented learning. The university museum is considered a representative model reflecting the scientific achievements of teachers and the creative successes of students, which makes it an important element of the university’s corporate identity. The social mission of the planned museum is substantiated: its openness to a wide audience, active promotion and popularization among city residents and tourists. Integrating the museum into the city’s cultural space will enable it to fulfil an image‑building function, helping to enhance the university’s visibility and shape an attractive cultural image of the city. Thus, the art museum of the IKI DGTU can become a focal point for the professional community, student youth, and residents of Rostov‑on‑Don, combining educational, enlightenment, and socio‑cultural objectives within a single project.

- Глава 10
- Abstract:
- The study is devoted to the methodology of designing a multifunctional educational environment for children with disabilities (DD). Based on a comparative analysis of traditional and modern practices, the key qualities of an environment that promotes not only inclusion but also the comprehensive development of the individual have been identified and systematized. The chapter examines the psychosocial aspects of design, including recovery, self‑efficacy, ergonomic design, transformability, rehabilitation, teaching compassion, and career guidance. Practical solutions for designing correctional work rooms, recreation areas, workshops, libraries, sports and medical units, as well as elements that shape the cultural code, are presented. The key factors of salutogenic design are formulated: flexibility, adaptability, communicativeness, and a stimulating environment. It is concluded that inspirational methods of managing salutogenic design are based on socio‑psychological factors, the preservation of the national cultural code, and a systemic ecological approach.

- Педагогика
- Abstract:
- This article presents a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of two classes of digital educational tools used in teaching higher mathematics at the university level: neural network-based applications — generative language models and adaptive AI platforms — versus classical algorithmic products, including task databases, computer simulators, and mind maps. Drawing on an analysis of contemporary scientific research (2019–2026) and pedagogical practice, the study identifies the strengths and limitations inherent to each approach. It is established that neural networks possess considerable transformative potential for personalizing instruction and generating learning materials, yet fall short of algorithmic systems in terms of reliability, accuracy, and the capacity to foster robust computational skills. The findings substantiate the need for a hybrid strategy that integrates both types of tools, complemented by the active role of the instructor as a filter and moderator of AI-generat

- Work direction:
- Педагогика
- Abstract:
- The paper investigates the problem of overcoming the gap between the declared continuity of career guidance work and the actual fragmentation of managerial impacts at the level of educational organizations. The necessity of transitioning to a transfunctional model of supporting youth career choices to provide personnel for the engineering and technological sector of the economy is substantiated. The methodological basis comprises the anthropological principle, the age-normative model of development, and the subjective approach, synthesized within the framework of the situational-positional paradigm. Based on the research results, a reproducible pedagogical support technology is designed, relying on a cycle of managerial tasks: from diagnostics and scenario planning to monitoring and correction. The mechanisms for constructing educational situations in the micro-environment of specialized classes and colleges that contribute to the formation of a student's subjective position are revealed. Tools for building a personal vector of professional development and organizing mentoring that integrate institutional resources and the demands of the real sector of the economy are proposed.

- Abstract:
- This chapter examines trends and specific aspects of improving the personnel training system for Russia's defense-industrial complex (DIC), taking into account the current conditions of defense-industrial policy implementation. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is based on empirical and theoretical methods. The study proposes a practice-oriented approach to personnel training for organizations within the Russian defense industry, envisioning comprehensive interaction between all entities involved in staffing organizations, from educational institutions to departments within the DIC, where the knowledge and competencies of graduates are put into practice. As a result of the conducted research, an integrated model for training professional management personnel for organizations of the Russian defense industry was proposed, which allows for the provision of practice-oriented training (retraining, advanced training) of specialists who will possess the necessary set of organizational and professional competencies to solve a wide range of management, production and engineering tasks facing organizations of the defense industry.

- Abstract:
- The relevance of the work stems from the gap between classroom foreign-language activities and the real communicative tasks that future power engineers face when operating equipment, delivering safety briefings, participating in international projects and discussing technical regulations. The study aims to theoretically justify, design and experimentally verify a methodology for employing simulation of authentic professional situations to develop oral communication skills in English among undergraduate students of electric power engineering. The research material included typical scenarios of professional interaction involving operational staff, design engineers and occupational safety specialists. These scenarios were selected through the analysis of job descriptions, semi-structured interviews with industry practitioners and a corpus of authentic video recordings of technological processes.
