    Abstract:
    The chapter discusses the issue of modern professional music education related to the consolidation of its primary level. The practical aspects of the implementation of pre-professional programs, including psychological and pedagogical support for a musically gifted child, are highlighted. The system of pre-professional training is considered as an orderly, purposeful, long-term process of upbringing, education, musical and personal development of school-age children, which assumes a certain system of quality monitoring and control. The implementation of pre-professional programs ensures methodological and creative links between the 1st and 2nd stages of musical education, promotes the unity of the professional musical educational space.

  • Formation of Social Readiness in 6–7-Year-Old Children with Visual and Hearing Impairments

    Abstract:
    The formation of social readiness for school at the present stage is becoming one of the central tasks of preschool pedagogy and psychology. This issue is of particular importance in relation to children with sensory impairments. The purpose of the study is to identify the conditions for the formation of social readiness for school in children with sensory impairments. Objectives: to identify the features of social readiness for school in children aged 6–7 with visual and hearing impairments in comparison with their normatively developing peers; to determine the psychological and pedagogical conditions for the formation of social readiness for school in children aged 6–7 with visual and auditory impairments, to assess the degree of their effectiveness. The hypothesis of the study: the process of forming social readiness for school in children aged 6–7 with visual and auditory impairments will be effective if the following psychological and pedagogical conditions are met: reliance on joint play and creative activities that enhance the child's subjective position and the formation of skills of cooperation with peers; the inclusion in the content of the work of a set of measures that ensure the formation of a positive attitude towards school, the child's acceptance of the positions of “teacher” and “student”. Research methods: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific materials on the research problem, formative experiment, quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data obtained, methods of their interpretation. Research results: children with sensory impairments are characterized by a low level of social readiness for school. The introduction of a specially developed system of formative influences that implements the conditions outlined in the research hypothesis contributes to the effectiveness of the formation of social readiness for school in children aged 6–7 with sensory impairments (vision and hearing). At the same time, there is an increase in the indicators of communication and cooperation skills among children with disabilities with their peers, a transition to more complex forms of communication between the child and adults, and a sufficient level of formation of contextual communication with them.

  • Symbols and Symbolic Structures in Novels About Wartime Children: “The Golden Cloud Stayed Over” by A. Pristavkin and “The Book Thief” by M. Zusak

    Abstract:
    The article provides a comparative analysis of symbols and symbolic structures in the novels “The Book Thief” by the Australian writer M. Zusak and “The Golden Cloud” by the Soviet author A. Pristavkin. Despite the differences in cultural and historical context — the Holocaust in Nazi Germany and the deportation of peoples in the Soviet Union — both works share a typological similarity in their use of symbolic strategies to represent the children’s experiences of war. The theoretical basis of the study is the works on philosophy and the theory of symbol, narratology, the theory of trauma, and the concept of multidirectional memory by M. Rothberg. The methodology includes comparative, structural-semantic, motivational, narratological, contextual, and intertextual analysis. The study reveals the universal mechanisms of symbolization of traumatic experience: the symbolism of the word and the book as means of resistance to a totalitarian regime, salvation, and preservation of cultural memory; symbolic motifs of duality and twinning; symbolic-narrative function of the Death image, color symbolism. It is shown that, despite the commonality of key themes (childhood and war, orphanhood, repressions), the texts demonstrate different models of access to the word: active mastery of culture in M. Zusak and exclusion from the world of culture in the characters of A. Pristavkin. The use of a comprehensive methodology allows us to demonstrate how both authors use symbolic structures to articulate the experience of historical catastrophe.

  • The Peculiarities of the Use of Verbs of Motion by Russian-Speaking Children

    Abstract:
    The present study is devoted to the analysis of the functioning of Russian verbs of motion in child speech. The aim of the article is to describe the main features of the use of these lexemes, which are particularly significant in early childhood, and to analyze instances of deviation from the normative usage of this group of Russian verbs. Investigating the lexical means by which a child conceptualizes motion contributes to a deeper understanding of the semantics of grammatical categories in the Russian language and to elucidating the process of language acquisition in children. The empirical material of the study consists of spontaneous speech data from the author’s two children and their peers, as well as verbal lexicon drawn from child speech dictionaries and scholarly articles on child language by various authors. Written child speech was analyzed on the basis of retellings and essays produced by school-aged children. The article examines how children use verbs of motion and documents atypical, non-standard phenomena associated with their usage. New linguistic data not previously described in the literature are presented. The research methodology includes longitudinal observation, the method of continuous sampling, and comparative analysis of linguistic facts. The article proposes a classification of the most common types of children’s occasional uses of verbs of motion, including the elimination of consonant alternations in stems, incorrect selection between unidirectional and multidirectional verbs, the use of colloquial and substandard forms, creative interpretation and reinterpretation of figurative meanings in polysemous verbs of motion, grammatical errors in verb government, and written errors in the selection of aspectual pairs. The causes of erroneous usage of the analyzed verbal lexicon are identified, and parallels are drawn with phenomena observed in adult colloquial speech within the framework of linguistic creativity. Playful strategies in the use of verbs of motion by Russian-speaking children are identified and interpreted.

    This article examines the problem of bullying in educational institutions as a risk factor for the psycho-emotional health of adolescents. Currently, educational institutions are gradually expanding beyond purely educational activities, which has fueled interest in reviving the idea of ​​education with an emphasis on traditional values ​​and moral and ethical norms. This study attempts to systematically analyze the complex problems that children face in modern family and school settings. Particular attention is paid to the psychological and social aspects of bullying, its consequences for adolescents, and the factors that contribute to the emergence of aggressive behavior among students. The article presents the results of empirical studies demonstrating the prevalence of bullying in educational institutions and its impact on the psycho-emotional state of adolescents.

    The article is devoted to the study of the possibilities of using gamification methods in the correctional and developmental education of primary school students with intellectual disabilities. In the context of implementing the principles of inclusive education, pedagogical technologies that can compensate for cognitive deficits and activate cognitive activity become particularly relevant. Based on the analysis of the works of L. S. Vygotsky, D. B. Elkonin, J. Piaget, and A. R. Luria, as well as modern empirical studies (N. A. Kotelevtseva, N. L. Karavaeva, and others), the article examines the mechanisms of the influence of game elements, such as point systems, level complexity, and immediate feedback, on the development of attention, memory, self-regulation, and social skills in this category of students. The article emphasizes the need for a thorough adaptation of gamified methods to the specific psychophysical characteristics of children with intellectual disabilities.

    This article explores the pressing issue of developing preschool-age children's reading competence through the creation of a comprehensive reading infrastructure within preschool educational institutions. Drawing on the "Concept of the National Program for Supporting Children's and Youth Reading in the Russian Federation," the authors explore the structural components of this infrastructure: motivational, environmental, spatial-temporal, and communicative. Particular attention is paid to the practical implementation of the proposed model within the framework of a municipal innovation platform, demonstrating the path from theoretical concept to the creation of an environment in kindergarten where children not only learn to read but also truly fall in love with books.

    The chapter is devoted to the application of a set of psychological and pedagogical techniques in experimental biology teaching. The analysis has shown that psychological and pedagogical techniques are an important means of improving the quality of biology education and contribute to the creation of a favorable emotional atmosphere. The chapter notes that the learning process is not a passive consumption of information, but a dynamic formation of knowledge in a social context. Students do not just receive information from the teacher, but independently participate in the educational process – they ask questions, engage in discussions, analyze tasks together with their peers, or perform project work. Collective activity becomes the basis. The teacher only organizes a space for information search, helps to structure students' thoughts and develop the ability to solve problems independently. When using these approaches, students become the authors of their own educational path: they master information analysis skills, develop critical thinking, gain experience in teamwork and social communication. Active participation helps to increase motivation to study due to personal involvement in joint activities with peers. This training format meets the requirements of modern society for the universal skills of school graduates.

  • The potential of parenthood in the socialization of an adopted child

    The chapter is devoted to the study of the potential of parenthood in the process of socialization of an adopted child. The author sets a goal – to theoretically substantiate the importance of the figure of a substitute parent in this process. To achieve this goal, analytical methods were used, including the study of works by Russian and foreign scientists investigating such aspects as family socialization, family values, responsible parenting, problems of family problems and behavioral deviations, as well as the development of foster children. The study revealed that parenthood plays a key role in the formation of a high-quality level of family relationships necessary for the full functioning of an adopted child in society. The phenomenon of "substitute parenting" is understood by the authors as a combination of ability and desire to take on the responsibilities of upbringing and providing conditions for the harmonious growth and development of a minor family member. This phenomenon is characterized by a high degree of social responsibility and requires the presence of developed social competencies, since the appearance of a new family member significantly affects the structure of intra-family interactions and the nature of the manifestations of family members. The author emphasizes the importance of analyzing changes within the family resulting from the appearance of an adopted child in order to minimize possible risks that negatively affect the process of socialization. Thus, substitute parenthood is considered as a specific social status that is formed simultaneously with the appearance of an adopted child and assumes the fulfillment of special obligations aimed at the upbringing and maintenance of minor family members. This creates a special social space that promotes the development of the necessary environment for the successful integration of an adopted child into society. Thus, the conducted research allows us to better understand the role of a substitute parent in the life of a foster child and identify key factors that influence the success of the socialization process in a foster family.

  • Improving the effectiveness of the learning curriculum on children's railways through the development of environmental literacy and inclusive creative technologies

    Abstract:
    The article describes an educational project aimed at increasing student engagement and consolidating educational material through the practical use of secondary resources. The author describes the experience of creating thematic dioramas as a means of visual representation of the studied sections of the program. Special emphasis is placed on the possibility of children with disabilities participating in the project, which made it possible to implement an inclusive approach to learning. The project was implemented as part of optional classes on the Sverdlovsk Children's Railway for five months. The participants used recycled materials such as cardboard boxes, old brushes, wires, book covers, etc. – as well as elements of modern technologies, including 3D printing. The work contributed to the development of creative, engineering and environmental thinking, communication skills and teamwork. The results showed the effectiveness of the method: children were actively involved in the learning process, showed independence and initiative, and also increased the level of understanding of the educational material. The project confirmed the potential of using accessible materials and inclusive practices to form sustainable knowledge and value orientations among students.

  • The connection of ideas about parents with the motives of teaching older adolescents

    The study is devoted to the research of older adolescents' ideas about their parents' attitude towards them and the relationships of these ideas with the motives of learning. A correlation study was performed based on a voluntary, anonymous online survey of older adolescents conducted in a Google form. The main sample for studying the relationships between the motives of learning and the ideas of older adolescents about their parents' attitude towards them consisted of 111 students in grades 9–11 and college students aged 14–18 years. Two methods were used: the questionnaire «Adolescents about parents» (ADOR), which allows assessing adolescents' ideas of their parents' attitude towards them separately for mothers and fathers (Wasserman et al., 2001); the questionnaire «Comprehensive assessment of motivation for learning activities» (Vartanova, 2000). Correlation analysis (according to Spearman) was used in data processing. The results showed the presence of a stable core of significant correlations, manifested for both mothers and fathers, between adolescents' ideas about their parents' attitude towards them and the motives of learning. The stable core of the relationships consisted of two positive correlations between the scale of parents' «positive interest» in an adolescent's life and studies and the pilot scales of learning motives selected from the unified scale of motivation for learning activities, such as «the motive of caring for the future» and «the motive of being a professional student». The stable core also includes a negative correlation of the scale of parents' «inconsistency» towards the adolescent with his «motive of caring for the future». In addition, differences were found in the correlations between adolescents' ideas of their mothers' attitude and their fathers' attitude towards them with pilot scales of adolescents' motives of learning.

  • Psychological and pedagogical support for families with children with disabilities

    Abstract:
    The chapter is devoted to the current topic of psychological and pedagogical support for families raising children with disabilities. With the growing opportunities for inclusive education, comprehensive support for such families, which often face emotional burnout, social isolation, and a shortage of qualified care, is of particular importance. The chapter analyzes modern approaches to family support, including digital technologies (online consultations, virtual reality), interdisciplinary interaction and involvement of parents in the rehabilitation process. Special attention is paid to the evolution of support services: from the emergence of the medical model of the 19th century to the modern paradigm of inclusion, where the family becomes an active participant and generator of the entire process of helping a child with disabilities. Effective technologies (BOS therapy, virtual reality and its simulators, lecture library), support stages and functions of specialists are considered. It has been proven that resorting to a resource-based approach aimed at post-traumatic growth of parents, combined with family-centered methods (success diaries, support groups, including virtual ones) significantly increase the effectiveness of children's adaptation. The chapter offers practical recommendations on the organization of support, including a combination of stationary and remote forms of work with the family of a child with disabilities. The need for a balance between innovative and traditional approaches to overcoming the key problems of the rehabilitation process is emphasized: the shortage of specialists, technological barriers and stigmatization.
