  • Evaluation of the effectiveness of the Russian-language version of the PRACTICE cognitive-behavioural coaching model

    Abstract:
    The article presents the results of the evaluation of the effectiveness of the cognitive-behavioral coaching model PRACTICE. To evaluate the effectiveness, a repeated measures design was used. Data processing was performed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov criterion and the Wilcoxon criterion. Results: coaching sessions conducted according to the PRACTICE model lead to a positive shift in the level of personal effectiveness (z = 137.5, p = 0.023) and the level of self-organization of the coachee (z = 88, p = 0.025). The study is the first evaluation of the effectiveness of the PRACTICE cognitive-behavioral coaching model and creates a basis for further comparative studies in the field of coaching psychology.

    The article examines the key components of architecture integrated into the discipline of "Life Safety" in order to ensure the safety of the urban environment and increase the sustainability of buildings. Rational organization of space, energy-efficient and autonomous life support systems, fire safety, environmental sustainability and inclusive design are the main aspects influencing architectural decisions. Modern design approaches that take into account natural and man-made risks, as well as the impact of the urban environment on human safety and comfort, are analyzed. The methods of increasing the resilience of buildings to emergency situations are considered, including the use of fire-resistant materials, intelligent control systems, safe transport solutions and barrier-free architecture.     The relevance of the research topic lies in the need for continuous improvement of the management system of state-owned enterprises based on the analysis of estimated performance indicators and identification of existing problems. The object of the study is the state unitary enterprise of the subjects of the Russian Federation of the Kaluga Region Kaluga MTS (hereinafter abbreviated as MTS). SE KO «Kaluga MTS»). The subject of the research is the management system of the Kaluga MTS State Enterprise. The theoretical basis of the research was domestic and foreign scientific periodicals, textbooks, and materials from scientific and practical conferences and monographs. The information base was the official website of the enterprise, its financial statements and reports of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kaluga region. During the preparation of the material, such methods as computational-analytical, structural-logical, monographic, as well as methods of analysis and synthesis were used.

  • National specificity of the lexical-phraseological field Brot in the German language (linguistic-cultural aspect)

    Abstract:
    This article is devoted to the linguistic-cultural analysis of the background word "Brot" in comparison with its Russian conceptual equivalent хлеб in order to identify common and nationally specific differences due to the presence of cultural components on the semantic periphery of both lexemes. The lexical background of the word "Brot" is presented in the form of a lexico-phraseological field, which includes culturally marked lexical units combining both linguistic and non-linguistic content, which allowed us to interpret the background uniqueness of the lexeme in a culturally meaningful way. The relevance of the research is conditioned by the necessity of further study of the background lexicon taking into account the complex character of its non-conceptual part of meaning, possessing implicit denotative and connotative national originality, the elimination of which can have a negative impact on the act of intercultural communication. In the course of the study, we also used the methods of descriptive, comparative and component analysis, the method of critical analysis of the dictionary and dictionary definitions, which allowed us to conclude that the paradigmatic and syntagmatic relations of the word "Brot" are highly culturally unique, and revealed quantitative and qualitative differences in thematically related secondary nominations. The main material of the study is represented by culturally marked lexical units of the mentioned topics, identified by means of a continuous sampling from German explanatory, encyclopedic, phraseological and linguistic-cultural dictionaries, as well as German-Russian dictionaries.

    Abstract:
    The work is devoted to the study of the process of ethnocultural socialization of students. A modern university is a multicultural educational environment in which, due to the use of its cultural and social potential, effective socialization is possible – a process of conflict-free entry of an individual with ethnocultural characteristics, values and behavior patterns of his people, into a multicultural society. The purpose of the article is to present the results of the ascertaining stage of the experiment on ethnocultural socialization of students in the multicultural educational environment of the university. In the course of the work, environmental, axiological, ethnocultural approaches were used. It was revealed that in student groups before the experiment, the majority of respondents were not familiar with the national culture of other peoples. Moreover, some respondents showed reluctance to get acquainted with a foreign-language culture. Based on the methods of observation, survey and questionnaires, conclusions were made that before the main work on ethnocultural socialization of students, the efforts of teachers should be focused on the formation of motivation to get acquainted with the cultural traditions of different peoples. This work is necessary to ensure the validity of further research in the event that the groups initially differ in the degree of motivation. It is argued that the formation of motivation is facilitated by the implementation of such conditions as the focus of the educational process of the university on the knowledge of ethnocultural traditions, customs of different peoples; reliance in the education of students on national traditions, culture and customs based on elements of ethnocultural reconstruction; the organization of interpersonal communication of students of different nationalities based on the principle of ethnocultural self-presentation.

    Abstract:
    In this article the author analyzes the activities of teachers of the Chuvash State Institute of Culture and Arts in developing students’ ethnocultural competence. The research material is the results of the author’s observation of the process of professional training of managers of social and cultural activities. The observation was carried out according to such criteria as knowledge of material and spiritual-moral values of the ethnic community, traditions and rituals, nutrition, music, sports, ways of life support, geography of settlement; skills of correct behavior in situations of interethnic communication in accordance with the cultural characteristics of the interlocutor, including the choice of relevant means of verbal and non-verbal communication; personal qualities expressed in interest in certain cultural manifestations, the desire to join them. The development of the content of activities for the formation of students' ethnocultural competence is based on scientific and methodological research in the field of technology for training future leaders of amateur choreographic groups for stage interpretation of folk dance, technology for the formation and development of students' ethnic self-awareness, linguacultural and ethnopsychological features of the Chuvash mentality, technology for introducing students to folk art culture. To achieve positive results, it is necessary to integrate educational, research, cultural and educational activities, interaction with subjects of sociocultural activities, and innovative activities.

    The chapter deals with the problem of developing didactic materials using digital technologies in the context of medical education. The key aspects of using digital tools to create training resources aimed at improving the quality of training specialists in the field of medicine are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the experience of introducing digital didactic materials into the educational process of natural science disciplines. Examples and a brief description of didactic materials developed using digital technologies are considered. The advantages of using digital technologies are discussed, which consist in the adaptation of teachers and students to modern educational technologies, the effectiveness of the organization of the educational process, the individualization of learning and the formation of practical skills among students. The issues of methodological support for teachers necessary for the effective use of digital didactic materials are discussed, and the impact of digitalization on traditional forms of education is discussed. The results of research demonstrating the effectiveness of the introduction of digital technologies in medical education are presented. The positive influence of digital tools on the formation of clinical thinking and research skills among medical students was noted.

    Digital technologies make it possible to automate the processes of disinformation and information warfare, launch fakes promptly and on a large scale, organize information interventions to shift public attention from one information agenda to another, to conduct information and psychological operations, and to have a certain impact on the consciousness and behavior of target groups. Fakes circulate not only in pop media and propaganda channels, but also penetrate into journalism, educational content, and scientific discourse, not only as a subject of scientific research, but also as a result of falsification; the phenomenon of fake journalism and journalism that ignores the high standards and principles of the profession has emerged. In the dense flow of rapidly updating information, attentive perception is difficult, it is difficult to distinguish between truth and falsification, and to obtain reliable information about events; Society is under unprecedented pressure from digital media disinformation, undermining trust in social institutions and social communication channels. These circumstances actualize the issues of improving the methodology and tools for verifying information and recognizing fake content in online media. The purpose of the study is to analyze the signs of fake media content and improve methods of countering disinformation in the media space. Results: the goals and motives of fake creators and distributors, signs and technologies of digital content falsification are investigated, approaches to combating fakes and falsification of information in online media are analyzed, the effectiveness of various technologies for detecting fake content and countering its influence is assessed. The concept of a comprehensive system for countering fakes in the digital space is outlined. One of the conclusions of the study is that countering the influence of fake online media content is not limited to technical and regulatory solutions, since the mechanisms of this influence are socio-psychological; cognitive sciences can provide a methodology for effectively countering deception and manipulation. The study is aimed at media security specialists.

    The article presents the results of a study of professional deficits of modern teachers in the field of communicative competence. The purpose of the scientific work is to identify professional deficits based on the theoretical analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature and empirical research methods. The relevance of the work is indicated by the needs of the state and society for teachers who are ready to carry out their professional activities in accordance with the new social situation caused by the emergence of modern face-to-face and network communications. The main concepts of the article are determined through the generalization of scientific research. The survey of teachers made it possible to identify deficits in the field of various competencies. The survey of teachers on the subject of professional deficits indicated communicative difficulties, helped to identify ways to overcome difficulties through methodological support and targeted assistance.

    This topic is relevant, due to the consideration of the problems of professional socialization in the scientific pedagogical literature separately, in this study the author considers them integrated and in general. Research problem: what are the essence and functions of pedagogical support for vocational and labour socialization of pupils of an educational organization on the example of students of a technical college, what are the content of the system of pedagogical support and the conditions for the effective organization of the provided pedagogical support? Research methods: theoretical: literature analysis, data synthesis; empirical: conversation, testing. The reliability of the research results is due to the choice of research methods and experimental base adequate to the tasks set, the careful development and justification of experimental designs, the representativeness of the experimental sample, the variety of collected experimental facts, and their number. The experiment showed the high efficiency of applying the personal-situational approach in the educational process with the developed process of vocational and labour socialization of students. The results of the experiment allow us to conclude that it is advisable to organize this process in educational organizations.

    This study examines the potential and significance of the partnership project method in facilitating the adaptation of international students, as well as the development of their external connections and social environment within the context of Russian society. The paper presents a student partnership project organized by the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language at Perm State Medical University and the Department of Foreign Languages at HSE University Perm. The project is executed through practice-oriented inter-university collaboration. Its objectives address interconnected challenges: firstly, the Indian student community in Perm remains isolated and inadequately integrated into the city's cultural and linguistic milieu. Secondly, residents of Perm and students at local universities have limited understanding of the living and educational experiences of the substantial number of international students residing in the city. The significance of the inter-university project lies in providing Perm and Indian students with opportunities to engage with one another, exchange cultural knowledge, establish both friendly and professional communication, and collaborate on the creation of a joint creative product.  This initiative fosters interethnic dialogue and enhances the communication skills and intercultural competence of future professionals.

    The study reveals the specifics of teaching basic art disciplines in the junior courses of the undergraduate direction of the Design 54.03.01. Modern conditions are presented that form the sphere of professional activity of future designers. It reflects the importance of introducing students to moral, ethical and aesthetic values. Attention is focused on creating an artistic image as the fundamental principles of compositional tasks. The fundamental significance of the Propaedeutics discipline is revealed. Didactic teaching principles in the context of design education are outlined. The author's set of propaedeutics exercises is disclosed, which have increasing complexity, coordination of interdisciplinary ties and the development of the emotional sphere of students. The logic of interaction and continuity of disciplines can be traced. Features of training using computer tools and the use of neural networks in training are disclosed. The conditions for the further development of the designer in the professional field on the basis of fundamental knowledge are formulated.

    The presented scientific discourse examines some aspects of the integration of the sociocultural scenario into landscape design in the context of training bachelor designers. In the process of teaching bachelors in landscape design, the priority should be the increasing role of space ecology and the health-improving capabilities of the living environment. Various options for combining and interconnecting landscape design components are analyzed from the point of view of their social and cultural dominance. It is noted that in the current environmental situation, green spaces are an important factor in optimizing the development of urban areas and explore the ecological component of urban landscapes, indicating that the presence of plants stabilizes and reduces the environmental tension of the urban environment. Cultural recognition of landscape components creates a psychologically comfortable environment in the city space.

    The chapter considers methodological approaches to the development of business communication skills of students of a non-linguistic university in a foreign language based on educational speech situations that allow reconstructing the conditions of business intercultural communication that are significant for educational purposes. In the context of interactive, situational and communicative approach, some stages and features of the development of intercultural business communication are specified. The advantage of a communicative task from a methodological point of view as a stimulus for speech activity and a means of managing the student's speech behavior in a specific situation of intercultural business communication are noted. A business game is characterized as the most effective stage of teaching a foreign language in the field of intercultural business communication; recommendations are given for the use of business games in the educational process of a non-linguistic university.
