  • Professionally oriented intercultural communication of Chinese students in Russian

    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to the study of the ethnocultural component of the educational process of Chinese philology students. The purpose of the study is to build a professionally oriented model for preparing foreign students for intercultural communication in Russian. The research material consisted of video and audio recordings of educational work in Russian in the conditions of Russian preparatory faculties. Research methods – analysis of theoretical models presented in modern literature on teaching the Russian language in Chinese audiences; generalization of one’s own practical experience; modeling the educational process with the inclusion of an ethnocultural component in the model. As a result of the study, the authors come to the following conclusions: as an optimal methodological basis, one should choose a variable model of personal-activity learning, based on anthropological, communicative and cognitive principles in a complex, which will allow to include in training, on the one hand, ethnocultural component, on the other hand, will not disrupt the processes of comprehensive learning and the formation of a linguistic personality as an integral phenomenon. As an integrative component, the model presents a metatext that is relevant for Chinese philology students, based on the standardized intention «General characteristics of an object». As a result, students, relying on ethnocultural potential and the ability to build communication in Russian, by the end of the first semester master the A2+ level and are ready to work in the second semester to study special philological disciplines directly in Russian.

    Abstract:
    Over 2012–2022, there were changes in the composition of the number of employees and revenue to the type of economic activity «Agriculture, forestry, hunting, fishing and fish farming» in the context of the regions of the Central and Far Eastern federal districts. There were also changes in the structure of the analyzed indicators. Assessment of structural shifts in the Central Federal District and the Far Eastern Federal District indicate the presence of both negative and positive ones. The assessment using the integral indicator made it possible to indicate the presence of insignificant structural differences in the number of employees and very significant structural differences in revenue for the analyzed type of economic activity. The noted changes led to the improvement in the industrial index of labor productivity and, as a result, the presence of a positive shifting effect due to changes in the structures of the number of employees and revenue in the Central Federal District and the Far Eastern Federal District in 2017–2022.

    Abstract:
    The chapter provides an analysis of theoretical, methodological and practice-oriented studies of the problem field, actualizing the need to preserve cultural and historical memory and the formation of civic identity of young people in the territory of the Russian Federation and the newly annexed territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions. The authors consider the axeological and regulatory foundations of civic and patriotic education in the modern socio-cultural space, identify the semantic field of the categories «cultural and historical memory» and «civic identity», present various mechanisms and factors influencing the formation of cultural and historical memory and civic identity. The material presents the cultural landscape of the newly annexed territories from a geographical point of view. Based on the analysis of the research, the authors identify educational technologies relevant for the purposes of civic and patriotic education, the main diagnostic tools for conducting pedagogical measurements of cultural and historical memory and civic identity of youth, and also provide an overview of educational practices of teachers on this issue.

    Due to the rapid development of information technology and artificial intelligence, the use of neural networks is becoming more widespread and significant in various fields of research and training. In higher mathematics, neural networks can be used to improve the learning process of students. For example, they can help create online courses tailored to the individual needs of students. Neural networks can analyze the results of students' work and offer individual recommendations for studying specific topics or problem areas. In addition, neural networks can be used to develop intelligent systems for automatic task verification and pattern recognition. This can help teachers in the process of evaluating students' work and providing feedback. Neural networks can also diagnose problems in understanding the material and offer additional materials or exercises to consolidate skills. Neural networks can also be used to study complex mathematical problems and develop new approaches and methods in higher mathematics. Their ability to process large amounts of data and find complex patterns can help in the study of mathematical structure and the creation of new mathematical models. It is obvious that the use of neural networks in teaching higher mathematics opens up opportunities for more effective and individualized student learning, as well as for the development of mathematics itself. Therefore, this topic is relevant and interesting for further research and applications.

    The article deals with the problem of forming the value attitude of students to the Russian native language. One of the ways to solve it is to work with text. It is indicated that special attention is paid to the linguistic and cultural and aesthetic perception of the text, the analysis of the ethnocultural units included in it. Diagnostics of 6th grade students helped to identify difficulties associated with the axiological component of text analysis. Based on the diagnostic results, comprehensive training exercises have been developed in three main areas: actualization of background cultural knowledge for understanding the text, working with the word in the text, selection of linguistic means of representation when creating a text.

    For 2005–2021, significant structural shifts occurred in the production and production structure of the main types of livestock products (livestock and poultry for slaughter (in slaughter weight), milk) of the Central and Far Eastern Federal Districts, which are confirmed by the assessment of the integral coefficient of structural differences. These assessments made it possible to establish that the production of livestock products in the Central Federal District is characterized by a predominant concentration in agricultural organizations, which contributes to an increase in milk consumption and milk production by the population of the regions of the district. In the Far Eastern Federal District, the main producers of products are households that are mainly focused on ensuring personal consumption of products. The organizational and economic structure of the Far Eastern Federal District is characterized by relative stability, which requires attention from the authorities, since the population's consumption of livestock products per capita in most regions of the district is significantly lower than the average Russian consumption. The increasing involvement of agricultural organizations and peasant (farm) farms in the production of livestock products with active financial support from the state and the presence of consumer demand will increase the consumption of the most important types of products per capita in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District to the all-Russian level.

    In the field of teaching preschool children speech and logical thinking, the problem of transition from spontaneous to purposeful teaching of natural language logic as a conscious method of cognition, especially scientific, is being solved. The logic of a natural language is defined as a system of all its logical means and rules for understanding and using these means. The main research methods are pedagogical experiment, sociolinguistic research and this logic. The author has developed forms of tasks and exercises for targeted teaching from early preschool age to the correct understanding and conscious use of conjunctions, quantifiers, question words and the rules of natural language logic. The forms are shown with the help of which adult parents or educators can themselves understand what is included in this logic and purposefully teach it to children.

  • The use of functional modeling in the organization of extracurricular educational work of the university

    The article presents the author's view on the organization of extracurricular educational work at the university. The authors believe that the main purpose of this type of activity is the personal and professional development of students, which is achieved through the creation of conditions for their active life, civic self-determination, creative development, professional formation and individual personal self-realization. The important role in the systematization and organization of extracurricular educational work of such methodological documents as Educational work schedules and Work programs of education according to educational programs is noted. The article presents a functional model of the organization of educational work on the example of the Volgograd Institute of Management – a branch of the RANEPA. The IDEF0 notation was used to build the model. As a result of the development of the "As is" model, factors were identified that were not previously taken into account, but have an impact on the process of implementing extracurricular educational work.

  • Foreign language textbook as semiotic phenomenon

    Abstract:
    The aim of this paper is the semiotic analysis of a foreign language textbook as a semiotic phenomenon reflecting the cognitive attitudes of its authors and aimed at forming not only external but also deep layers of the learner's linguistic personality, responsible for motivation, intents and attitudes. The material to be analysed is a popular line of EFL textbooks “English file” by British authors Ch. Latham-Koenig and C. Oxenden. The scientific novelty of the work is that for the first time a foreign language textbook is considered not as an educational and methodological text, but as an alternative reality, a dynamic complex sign, similar to the discursive space of a fiction book. The study is conducted by applying the method of contextual analysis, the method of cognitive-pragmatic analysis, and the interpretive method to the polycoded texts of EF-textbooks. The authors conclude that the semiotic complex of EF-textbooks exhibits the characteristics of an educational novel of fiction, where the learner assumes the function of a fairy-tale hero, acting in the space of English-language cultural mythologems, reference-metric elements, topoi and narratives. As a result of active realisation of the happy end narrative, supported by the system of topoi and precedent names characteristic of the English-language conceptosphere, the textbook uses the suggestive potential of the so-called soft power to form changes at the motivational-pragmatic level of the linguistic personality.

    Abstract:
    The purpose of this work is to substantiate the ethno-cultural orientation in teaching English among bilingual students of Tuvan State University as the basis for the formation of intercultural competence. The strengthening of internationalization and mutual influence of polylinguocultural social communities in different spheres of life actualizes the question of the need to solve educational problems in a broad socio-cultural context and the dialogue of cultures. It is possible through a discipline in English, aimed at studying Tuvan culture by students in the context of the past and the present. We have defined the purpose of the discipline, the content of cultural knowledge, the planned competencies as a result of studying the discipline by students, and also formulated principles. The discipline is based on the application of the innovative subject-integrated methodology CLIL, combining content and language. Its combination with the ethno-cultural component in teaching English creates the potential not only to improve the skills of foreign language communicative competence, but also contributes to the formation of intercultural competence of students.

    The chapter discusses the methodology of measuring and monitoring the structural dynamics of economic systems is considered. It is proposed to generalize the existing models of indicators for assessing structural changes into three main groups: index, spatial-geometric and matrix. It is demonstrated that structural shifts in the economy of intellectual property are realized both at the level of patenting subjects and at the level of intellectual property rights objects.   • Traditional culture as a tool for working with the conflictness in the multicultural student group

    The current political situation emphasizes the necessity to maintain the image of the country, Russian culture and language, Russian-language education in the world. In the conditions of the educational process of the university, the problem of maintaining motivation to study among students of the international faculty, which directly depends on the atmosphere in the student group, is topical. The article reflects the results of the research aimed at approbation of the program of work with students of international faculty based on the application of elements of traditional cultures (traditional and folk games, communicative norms and traditions, elements of folk folklore, etc.) as a tool to overcome tension and conflict in student groups studying Russian as a foreign language. The method of questionnaire survey, psychological testing, and expert evaluations were used to assess conflict and distance. Conclusions: the organization of work with students of the international faculty within the framework of the psychological service of the university has its own specificity, different from the work with Russian-speaking students; the use of elements of traditional culture (traditional and folk games, communicative norms and traditions, elements of folk folklore, etc.) is appropriate for solving the problems of psychological support of foreign students during the period of study.

  • Lake Svetloyar in modern sacred discourse

    Abstract:
    The purpose of the article is to identify the features of the sacred discourse of Lake Svetloyar. The material of the analysis is the texts of interviews taken from residents of the village of Vladimirsky and guests who visited this place, video content posted on the YouTube social network, publications in the media dedicated to the lake. The conducted discourse analysis reveals the peculiarity of the sacred discourse of Lake Svetloyar today as a complex and conflicting combination of Orthodox discourse, the discourse of neo-pagans, representatives of new age, individual religiosity, as well as the excursion activities of employees of the Museum and Tourist Complex “Grad Kitezh” in the village of Vladimirskoye. The article concludes that for all of them Lake Svetloyar is a natural sacred space, one of those in Russia in which either the Russian national and cultural identity, or the spiritual uniqueness of all mankind, or the source of individual “cultivation of the spirit” is most strongly manifested. The results of the study confirm that Lake Svetloyar, as one of the most important sacred spaces in Russia with a corpus of various narratives revealing its special nature and status, with a complex of ritual practices formed around it, remains significant and actively functioning in the modern socio-cultural space.

    В главе представлена жилищная проблема с точки зрения концепции дома, недостаточно изученного в социологических исследованиях. Исследование пространства дома неотделимо от жилищного дискурса, возможности обсудить повседневную жизнь, различные варианты выбора реализации домашнего пространства через социокультурные аспекты, такие как память, конфиденциальность, эмоции, ностальгия, ритуалы и дизайн. В главе основное внимание уделяется теоретическому осмыслению пространства и места домашнего быта. Исходя из предположения, что способы использования нашего дома, а также жилищная практика зависят от социальных и культурных характеристик, в данной главе предлагается определить культуру жилища как исследовательское понятие, в котором основное внимание уделяется дому как социокультурной практике жилища. Культура жилища как социологическая концепция подразумевает жилище как повседневную практику, в которой дом формируется и реализуется на пересечении идентичности, отношений и смыслов через материальную форму, символический и культурный капитал.

    The chapter examines the concept of bullying, based on the analysis of literary sources, the main theoretical approaches to understanding bullying in schools are highlighted, namely: Social Cognition Theory, Dominance Theory of Bullying, Humiliation Theory, Social Capital Theory, Organization Cultural Theory, Cognitive Developmental Theory, Theory of Response to Group and peer Pressure.

    Abstract:
    Currently, considerable attention is paid to the role of the substantive-spatial environment in the functioning of educational institutions, from preschool institutions to higher educational institutions. The aim of the exploratory study was to examine teachers' perceptions of the substantive-spatial environment of secondary school. The study was conducted by online polling in Google form using a pilot questionnaire that included questions-statements regarding various aspects of the school's substantive-spatial environment. The respondents were 39 school teachers (33 women and 6 men). When processing the results, φ*-criterium of the Fisher angular transformation was used. The results of the study showed that the teachers showed the greatest unanimity, characterizing in general their positive attitude towards design innovations at school, and equally unanimously they did not agree that the substantive-spatial environment of the school was indifferent to them; it was shown that about two-thirds of the surveyed teachers showed interest in improving various aspects of the substantive-spatial environment of the school, which made it possible to identify their preferences in the design of the school interior (living plants, places for quiet rest, color scheme, etc.); it was noted, although less common, but also found in teachers, resistance to design innovations in the school substantive-spatial environment, varying from neutral to conservative.
