    The article considers the relevance and relevance of designing digital education in schools, taking into account the positive trends and risks of the impact of the current social situation on the education and development of students. The main priorities and directions in the activity of the teaching staff when updating the educational environment of the school in the era of digital technologies are revealed. The results of experimental work in solving the tasks of the Federal project "Grandchildren of Tsiolkovsky", within the framework of the national program "Digital economy", are presented and characterized.

  • Research and Development of the Project of a Process Information System for Supply Chain Management on the Example of Warehouse Logistics

    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to research and development of a project for a process information system for supply chain management (SCM) (based on the example of warehouse logistics of JSC Kaluga Remputmash plant). The process of taking inventory on charge to the warehouse was selected for detailed consideration. The characteristics of the enterprise, its mission, strategic goals are described, and the architectural and process model of the enterprise is constructed. During a pre-project survey, an architectural and process model of the system for taking inventory on charge to the warehouse (“AS-IS”) was formed. The developed solutions include three aspects: practical significance, scientific and technical novelty, and commercial feasibility. Practical significance means that this system will allow the company to reduce warehouse costs, reduce the time for taking inventory on charge, for drafting and processing documents, and improve the reliability of information. Scientific and technical novelty reflects the identified problems in the process of taking inventory on charge to the warehouse and solutions to eliminate these problems. Commercial feasibility consists in the estimated effectiveness of the proposed solution.

    Abstract:
    A problem of defining and structuring cultural information in relation to cultural studies and linguistics is raised in the article. The purpose of the author in theoretical aspect is to give definition of linguistic and cultural information and select its unit and in pragmatic aspect is to include linguistic and cultural information in foreign languages learning content. During the study of the problem raised in the article the following research methods were applied: theoretical analysis of the cultural, linguistic and psychology and pedagogical literature on problem stated above, study and analysis of language training of potential foreign language teachers in order to identify effective methods of cultural concept introduction in content of language and multicultural education, analysis of textbooks, manuals and programs, best practices, research and experimental work. The author of the article presents a definition of background information based on structure of its unit – cultural concept. In the pragmatic aspect an attempt was made in order to include background information in foreign languages learning content. The criteria for selecting cultural concepts as a unit of study were defined. In the author's opinion, a cultural concept can be considered a unit of learning content in the foreign language teaching methodology.

  • Problems and Perspectives of Distance Learning in Modern Schools

    Abstract:
    The purpose of the article is to give recommendations on the organization of distance learning at school, identifying the main problems and prospects for its use in the educational process. Methods of research. During the study, the analysis of distance learning was carried out. The field of its application is defined, assessment of the advantages and disadvantages of this form of learning is presented, the basic means of interaction in the online environment in distance learning are revealed, the most effective teaching methods in distance learning are pointed out. Based on the results of the study, conclusions were made about the specifics of distance learning. The author emphasizes that the main advantages of distance learning as following: an individual approach, the ability to maintain constant feedback between the teacher and the pupil, the lack of strict control as an incentive to free creative activity of pupils. The main disadvantage of distance learning is the lack of direct communication between the teacher and peers. It is also concluded that it is necessary to use collective methods of distance learning in order to overcome the deficit of emotional communication. The most effective methods of distance learning are those that are focused on independent work and creative search. It is noted that further prospects of distance learning development associated with number of following conditions: holding stage of the preparatory work for the adaptation of educational material, acquisition of information technologies and increase of the level of computer skills and choosing the optimal teaching methods for distance learning process.

  • Distance Learning of Students: Problems and Prospects of Its Development After the Coronavirus Pandemic

    The article is devoted to generalization of the first experience of mass distance learning received in the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic. The author of the article points out that a lot of debates in domestic universities about organizing distance learning for students, when diametrically opposed points of view were expressed about its effectiveness and inefficiency, necessity and uselessness, etc. could be observed. It is noted that in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, domestic universities had to switch to using distance learning methods when teaching students. Research methods: reviews and articles of teachers and university specialists on the first results of the organization of distance learning for students in domestic universities in the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic as well as the method of participatory observation and conversations with university lecturers. Results of research. The majority of Russian universities were not ready for such a simultaneous and complete transition to distance learning. This is due to the fact that neither teachers nor students were prepared for such a critical situation, which had never been before and was not supposed to be. Nevertheless, teachers and students since the beginning of the crisis have established communications by their usual means using social networks and e-mail. The transition to information platforms, which were created at the university to control the learning process, led to new problems, as it was necessary to restructure the work of both teachers and students, increasing the tension of their work, often without the possibility of obtaining technical support for the transition to new platforms.

    A rapid development of modern society and the change in power balance on the world stage (arena), the continuous increase of professional tasks complexity, place special demands on the management of military educational institutions. Planning is an important element of the military educational activity management system. The authors substantiated the need to develop software tools that provide information support to complex (integrated) approach to planning and organization of high institutions’ educational activity within the unified information and educational environment. The main problems that arise when using the information and educational environment of a military university, taking into account its specifics are identified. The authors present a structural model of electronic information and educational environment that allows to increase the coordination of the activities of the military universities leaders and teaching staff in the organization and management of educational activities.

    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to foreign language education which is more effective if a student becomes the subject of his own learning process. Modern information and communication technologies (ICT) contain an enormous potential for increasing the share of independent work in the educational process. ICT is everything that helps and allows you to collect, process, store and transmit information in an electronic form. Today, the traditional carrier of the electronic information is increasingly being superseded by cloud services, allowing you to create a virtual workspace. The purpose of the research is to study the educational potential of the modern Internet space, review the main educational online resources on the Internet in English, which can be used, both for teaching and self-learning a foreign language. In the process of the research, both empirical research methods (studying various sources of information, including the Internet, observation, interviews) and theoretical ones (analysis, synthesis, classification of the information received, the descriptive method) were used. The result of our study is a review of the main online services that can be used in a foreign language education. Digital tools for the formation of language skills (lexical, grammatical, pronunciation) and the development of speech skills in all types of speech activity (listening, speaking, reading, writing) are considered. It is concluded that in the modern Internet space there are huge educational resources in English for teachers and students that allow them to promote foreign language education. These resources are an important tool in the educational process and allow you to increase the level of students’ independence.

    The experience of the urban secondary school on the development and implementation of its own model of the on-line multi-media library of environmental orientation as one of the clusters of multifunctional school information and library center is presented in the article. The purpose of the article is to consider the purpose, objectives, principles, expected outcomes of implementing this model, its structure, components, material and technical parameters and conditions of forming of networking cooperation between educational institutions, ready-to-use possibilities of multi-media library «ECO-school». The authors outline that in general, the multi-media library «ECO-school» is defined as a sphere of media education with special means and methods to ensure the educational process aimed at creating conditions for the implementation of students’ individual trajectories and expanding the digital space of extracurricular activities on the basis of networking cooperation. During the study the following methods were applied: analysis, observation, and comparison. The model developed by the MAEI "Secondary school №26" in Ulan-Ude of the Republic of Buryatia is considered in the article. It is based on the principles of introducing electronic resources based on the school library as a factor that directly affects the quality of education. It is concluded that on the one hand, the multi-media library provides remote access to information resources belonging to other subjects of the information space represented on the Internet. On the other hand, the multi-media library «ECO-school» forms information resources created directly at the school or by members of the network community. In addition, the article provides brief guidelines for the application of the on-line multi-media library resources in students’ extracurricular environment-related activity.

    The study focuses on ongoing global processes in the field of education, described in a number of national projects, programs, standards, and recommendations. Subject to discussion are the issues (“Digital transformation as an object of research”, “Education in the world of digital technologies”, “Digital didactics”), which are raised in current research and affect the improvement of methodological systems in the university. Attention is drawn to the methodological system for the development of information-related competence of university students, its components and implementation conditions in the era of digital transformation. The approaches to its improvement are investigated. The leading research methods are: analysis of the fundamental provisions of national projects, programs, standards, and recommendations on the relevance of the process of developing information-related competence of university students; analysis of current research in the area of digital transformation in education; integration of the conceptual propositions of contemporary Russian scientists concerning the improvement of methodological systems at the university; integration of pedagogical experience in researching the process of developing information-related competence in future teacher students.     The article discusses the competences and powers of the state authorities of the Russian Federation within their legal status in the field of ensuring the security of critical information infrastructure. Some functions and authorities in the field of information security have changed in a number of federal executive bodies. In particular, the Federal Security Service, on the basis of a presidential decree, is authorized to create a state system for detecting, preventing and eliminating the consequences of computer attacks on information resources of the Russian Federation. However, not all rights and obligations are enshrined; a number of powers cause the duality of the legal status of certain federal bodies of state power.
