    This article examines the role of pedagogical heritage in shaping students' value-based attitudes toward Russian culture at professional dance schools. Using the Moscow State Academy of Choreography as an example, it analyzes the mechanisms for transmitting cultural values ​​through the system of pedagogical tradition continuity. Particular attention is paid to the methodological aspects of studying and reconstructing the historical sources of ballet pedagogy. Key components of pedagogical heritage and their influence on the development of the professional identity of future ballet dancers are identified.

    Abstract:
    This article investigates the problem of developing communicative skills among students in the system of secondary vocational education (SVE), which are crucial for their competitiveness in the modern labor market. It argues that project-based learning serves as the most effective pedagogical tool for fostering this set of competencies. The study analyzes the structural components of communicative competence and the stages of project work, revealing a direct correlation between them. The theoretical framework is illustrated by a practical example of implementing an interdisciplinary project at the North Ossetian Pedagogical College. It is proven that project-based activities create conditions for an authentic learning environment, in which communicative skills are developed in a comprehensive and situational-natural way.

    The article addresses the pressing issue of skilled labor shortage in the metallurgical industry, caused by workforce aging and declining youth interest in industrial professions. An innovative approach to training future metallurgists is proposed through the introduction of the course "Formation of Professional Self-Awareness of the Future Metallurgist," based on the author's "Self-Awareness Development System." Particular emphasis is placed on developing personal maturity, conscious career choice, and a stable professional self-concept among students. To address workforce attrition, the retraining of older specialists via the "Instructor of Special Additional Education Courses" program is also proposed, fostering intergenerational knowledge transfer. The implementation of these initiatives could enhance the attractiveness of the profession, strengthen education-industry collaboration, and ensure sustainable development of the metallurgical sector

    In the context of dynamic changes in education and the introduction of new standards and technologies, the requirements for the level of teacher professionalism are increasing. Traditional models of professional development are often criticized for their formalism, lack of connection to real-world practice, and insufficient impact on the quality of the educational process. This has led to a need for alternative, more effective approaches that focus on continuous reflective and active growth for teachers. The formative approach, which once transformed assessment from a summative control to a supportive and formative process, is aimed at promoting student growth. This same paradigm, which has proven its effectiveness in continuity, constant reflection, and support, can also be applied to the development of teachers. The new process, which is the formative professional development of teachers, has the potential to redefine the development process itself. A comparative analysis of traditional and formative professional development of teachers is relevant for developing scientifically grounded recommendations for modernizing the system of support for teacher growth. The purpose of this study is to explore the evolution of the concept of professional development from traditional to formative and to explain their differences. The study used theoretical analysis and empirical research methods. As a result, the fundamental differences between classical and formative teacher development have been identified, which can serve as a practical application of formative teacher development strategies and a perspective for further research on the new educational process.

  • Role of Mathematical Training of Schoolchildren in Mastering Skills of Future Profession

    Specialized school education today aims to enhance learning motivation and acquire knowledge and skills necessary for future professions. The choice of specialized subjects by 9th-grade graduates for in-depth study in specialized 10th-11th grades also implies passing the Unified State Exam (USE) in these subjects at the specialized level. However, the results are often lower than expected by graduates, their parents, and teachers. This article, based on an analysis of the 2024 Unified State Exam (USE) results in mathematics (specialized level), examines the format of self-analysis of a mathematics teacher's own errors in teaching schoolchildren. It proposes a set of updated competencies for mathematics teachers to improve the quality of graduates' mathematical training. As a result of discussing the problems of modern specialized school mathematics education, particularly the update of the direction of specialized school education (introduction of agrotechnological classes), with participants of professional development programs (specialists from regional education development institutes overseeing specialized school education, and heads and deputy heads of general education organizations), constructive approaches to mathematical training of schoolchildren are outlined. These approaches aim to apply mathematical knowledge, applied mathematical skills, and abilities in mastering related academic subjects, using the example of mathematics education in specialized agrotechnological classes.

    With the rapid development of technology and its integration into various spheres of life, including education, the issue of digital competence is becoming particularly relevant. Teachers of preschool educational organizations, as key figures in the formation of the foundations of knowledge and skills in children, must have modern digital competencies in order to effectively use new tools and methods in the educational process. The relevance of the article is due to the need for the educational process to meet modern standards and the need to develop competence in the field of digital technology use. Today, teachers are required to master not only basic knowledge, but also the ability to apply it in practice. In addition, there has been a significant increase in interest in digital technologies in education in recent years. Thus, this article examines the aspects of improving key digital competencies in the system of additional professional education necessary for successful work in preschool education, and also reveals the main issues of implementing advanced training courses aimed at the need to introduce practical orientation and the use of successful practices in the application of information and communication technologies in educational institutions.

  • Emotional Intelligence and Assertiveness: Aspects of the Relationship in Helping Professions Students

    In the contemporary world, characterized by high uncertainty and increasing demands on specialists, especially in helping professions, the development of key personal competencies becomes critically important. The aim of this study was to investigate the interrelationship between emotional intelligence and assertiveness in students preparing for helping professions. The study involved 100 students (aged 17–18) studying psychology and pedagogy. Emotional intelligence was assessed using methods by D. V. Lyusin, M. A. Manoylova, and N. Shutte. The level of assertiveness was measured using the V. P. Sheinov questionnaire. Statistical data processing was performed using Pearson's correlation analysis. The results revealed statistically significant positive correlations between all studied indicators of emotional intelligence and the level of assertiveness. The strongest relationships were found between assertiveness and intrapersonal and interpersonal emotional intelligence (Lyusin's method), the integral emotional intelligence indicator and the ability to manage one's own feelings (Manoylova's method), and the overall emotional intelligence score (Shutte's method). The data confirms the hypothesis of a close interrelationship between these constructs and emphasizes the need for targeted development of emotional intelligence and assertiveness during the professional training of future helping professionals. This will contribute to enhancing their professional effectiveness.

The relevance of the research topic is due to the fact that irreversible processes of global, global and regional scientific, technological and socio-cultural transformation are currently underway, which should be considered among themselves as a systemic interaction. Digital technologies in their content represent a methodology for applying interrelated methods and means of cybercommunication, which involves increasing the effectiveness of interaction, which implies requirements for professional mobility of university students in non-core areas of training using these technologies.     The chapter is devoted to the formation of stable motivational guidelines among fire service employees in the process of their professional training. The psychological aspects of motivation, risk factors for emotional exhaustion, and methods for improving the effectiveness of rescuers are considered. Special attention is paid to the importance of setting clear goals, developing professional competencies, and fostering a sense of teamwork and mutual assistance. Recommendations are given on creating conditions conducive to the development of personal qualities necessary for successfully overcoming stressful situations and high readiness for emergency response. The necessity of regular psychological support and support for firefighters is substantiated in order to prevent the negative effects of prolonged exposure to extreme labor factors.     The article addresses the current problem of the professional development of young teachers in the modern education system, characterized by rapid changes and high demands on teacher qualifications. The research aims to substantiate and test a set of effective technologies for implementing a mentoring model that promotes the successful adaptation and professional growth of young professionals. The article presents the results of a theoretical analysis of existing approaches to mentoring, systematizes modern technologies used in educational practice, and defines criteria for the effectiveness of these technologies. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of mentoring programs implemented in various regions. The article contains conclusions about the effectiveness of the developed mentoring model and recommendations for its implementation in educational institutions, including the need for clear criteria for selecting mentors, improving their qualifications, and an individual approach to each young specialist.     The article is devoted to the possibilities of using generative artificial intelligence (GAI) tools in teaching English for specific purposes (ESP). The article examines innovative approaches to learning, being necessary due to the rapid development of technology and requirements of the modern labor market. It analyzes the prospects of GAI in ESP context, including a comparative description of the most popular AI tools. The authors explore the functionality, advantages, and limitations of these tools, their impact on teaching a professionally oriented foreign language. Examples of the successful application of GAI in university courses are given. The emphasis is made on the development of communication skills and the adaptation of educational materials to specific professional fields. The article discusses the results of the empirical study showing positive changes in students' learning motivation and progress. The use of GAI contributes to more effective and personalized learning, improves vocabulary, grammatical accuracy and writing skills. However, the successful implementation of GAI requires additional knowledge and training of teachers, as well as focusing on the educational context. Special attention is paid to the need for a balanced approach when using GAI in order to avoid dependence on technology and preserve the positive experience gained in the process of applying traditional teaching methods.

    The paper reveals the development potential of the republican resource platform of continuing professional education as a tool for effective functioning of the system of scientific and methodological support of teaching staff. The article presents the structure of the resource potential of the regional platform, defines its main characteristics and directions, develops proposals for the creation of the republican system of methodological support for teachers and changes in the structure, functional tasks in the field of continuing professional education and professional retraining. These measures are aimed at improving the potential of the regional system in implementing the state educational policy and solving socio-economic problems. The process of gradual change in the system of scientific and methodological support for teachers is presented, in which the basic part is in the competence of the regional institutional structure responsible for the implementation of programmes of additional professional education, and the variable part falls to universities and other entities that are part of the regional segment of the education system. The article formulates further prospects for the development of the proposed structure of scientific and methodological support for teachers, introduction of new educational programmes and technologies, as well as research and analysis of the effectiveness of the applied practices. As a result of the practice implementation, the main vectors of regional policy development in the sphere of additional professional education of teachers and human resources potential of the Chuvash Republic are proposed.
