    In the chapter examines the features of using a program-oriented approach in project management in different countries, at different stages of socio-economic development. Based on the realities of each individual time lag, the priorities of algorithms for the vector distribution of efforts on the path of final goal setting are justified. Both theoretical and empirical developments of the «rigid system» of managing national economies are used, based on the expected dynamics of economic growth. The increment of the methodological scientific layer of this problem occurs within the framework of an absentee discussion with a number of Russian and international experts on the problem under discussion. Within the framework of matrix models, the strengths and weaknesses of the program-oriented approach, threats and opportunities in the course of its use in the economy of territorial entities are positioned. For the purity of the experiment, multifactorial analysis, systematic, complex, process and situational approaches are used. Practice conclusions and recommendations are given.

    Abstract:
    In the chapter considers the basic model of substantiation of management decisions – «volume-costs-profit», its analytical capabilities for enterprise management. This model helps to predict the values of costs, sales (production) volume and profit. The target focus of the study is to use the tools and functionality of the «volume-costs-profit» model to implement break-even activities of the enterprise. The purpose of the break-even theory is shown, the analytical capabilities of the basic model are systematized, four approaches to its content are identified, the filling of the key elements of its subject area is disclosed: marginal income, coverage rate, break-even point (break-even point), financial safety margin and operating leverage. Using the example of an agricultural organization, break-even modeling of business activities is carried out, directions for increasing the profitability of the enterprise are substantiated. To expand the functionality of the «volume-costs-profit» model, the use of sensitivity analysis, a matrix of financial results planning and break-even management, as well as a scenario approach for choosing alternative options for making a profit when making management decisions is proposed. Difficulties in conducting analysis and forecasting the break-even activity of an enterprise are identified, which are associated with the lack of legal regulation of cost accounting using the direct costing system, the methodology for calculating marginal income and the formation of a management accounting system.

    In the context of growing cultural diversity, conflict management in multinational organizations is becoming one of the key tasks of HR management. The authors conducted a systematic analysis of theoretical approaches to conflict management, reviewed modern conflict management strategies and identified the specifics of their application in the Russian context. The research is based on the method of systematic literature review and comparative analysis. Special attention is paid to the role of HR managers in conflict prevention and resolution, as well as practical recommendations for creating an effective corporate culture in the context of intercultural interaction. The conclusions made by the authors can be useful for heads of organizations, HR specialists and researchers dealing with personnel management issues in multinational teams.

  • Leisure and Play in Plato's Teaching and Learning Philosophy

    Abstract:
    A detailed study of the dialogues of Plato, the father of the fathers of philosophy and pedagogy, reveals that he considered leisure to be the central goal of education in the liberal arts. Schools should teach citizens not to avoid leisure by choosing excessive work, but instead to turn to virtue, embodied in the state in the daily practice of the liberal arts. But play was Plato’s method of education. Children learned best through playful activities that engaged their enthusiasm, that «turned the gaze of their souls» to the Good and the True. Likewise, play was the best way for adults to learn and practice philosophy, and it was the only way to discover new truth. Play was also central to the Socratic method. Plato found that dialogue at its highest and most serious level was a game for both teacher and student. Although the main thrust of playful education was to turn people to truth and to make them do philosophy for themselves, according to Plato, Being itself is in play.

    The study suggests ways to solve the problem of training students who have mastered the methods of scientific cognition, which is relevant for modern education. The methodology of organizing cognitive activity of students in conducting physical research on the basis of a school Quantorium is described. The thematic planning of classes according to the program «Digital Laboratory of Physics. ExperimentariUm», the implementation of which is aimed at the formation of skills in the experimental study of physical phenomena of different nature, the establishment of scientific facts about the type of dependence between physical quantities, the «discovery» of physical laws. The possibilities of using digital equipment in physics for organizing research activities have been identified. An example of a master class on the experimental study of pressure inside a liquid is given.

    In recent years, we have seen the pace of development of artificial intelligence (AI) increase. AI-based tools are increasingly embedded in professional activities, and people need to adapt to these changes. We've been talking about information overload for decades, and now the environment is even more stressful. Difficulties in maintaining concentration for long periods of time, conscious action, self-organisation and self-regulation are already being experienced in adolescents. The text analyses how AI affects the pace of life, and the problems this causes. Tools for coping are offered, with a focus on coaching as a solution to current challenges. Limitations and opportunities are critically examined through cognitive psychology and research on other approaches. Alternative solutions that take into account the limitations of the tool and its impact on resilience are also mentioned. The article is aimed at a wide audience interested in the impact of AI on human adaptive capacity.

    The study focuses on adapting successful metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of corporate coaching used in the United States to the countries of the CIS, taking into account cultural differences (Golvy, 2019; Whitmore, 2020). The novelty lies in identifying and adapting metrics that consider the specifics of cultural codes and social identity in CIS countries (Hofstede, Hofstede, Minkov, 2019; Trompenaars, Hampden-Turner, 2020). Metrics are viewed as tools for assessment and methods to deepen client work, enhance awareness of the process, improve its measurability, and foster professional growth for coaches (Tajfel, 1979; Burns, 1978). The study examines international experience in measuring coaching effectiveness, with a particular emphasis on adapting American approaches to the corporate environment using online platforms, as well as analyzing results (Bass, 1985; Seligman, 2011).

    The article analyzes the potential of integrating art coaching methods and transformational games as a tool for addressing business challenges. Using the transformational games Igra Atlantov "Alkhimiya Mechty” and “Put’ Bogatstva" (by Yuri Muradyan) as examples, the article examines the mechanisms by which the combination of visual metaphors, game mechanics, and coaching technologies can facilitate the acceleration of awareness and solution-finding processes. Typical business challenges are described, and case studies illustrating the application of this approach for various client categories (experts, entrepreneurs, top managers, HR specialists) are provided. The theoretical foundations and potential limitations of the method are also discussed.

    The article addresses the issue of qualimetric analysis of professional self-determination among students within the context of basic general education. Based on theoretical and empirical research methods conducted at MBOU Secondary School No. 4 in Poltavskaya village, Krasnoarmeysky District, Krasnodar Krai, the study presents the results of diagnostics assessing the readiness of 9th-grade students for professional self-determination. The activities of the educational institution related to vocational guidance are analyzed, factors influencing the process of professional self-determination are identified, and a series of recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of this process are proposed. The article also emphasizes the importance of interaction between the school, parents, and social partners in implementing vocational guidance activities.     In the chapter discusses the methodology of teaching nanotechnology in engineering education, taking into account modern scientific achievements in the field of materials science. Particular attention is paid to the synthesis of nanosized complex carbides of the TiC-WC system by spark dispersive coating and its integration into the educational process. Biology as an academic subject has great potential for the implementation of various forms of educational organization. FGOS SOE sets a number of difficult tasks for biology, one of which is to organize the educational process in such a way that it is as effective as possible and brings real results, but at the same time meets all the stated requirements. Case technologies successfully cope with this task. The cases are in high demand and relevant to use. They perform well in preparing students for exams and Olympiads. It can also be supplemented with out-of-text components: diagrams, graphs, tables, drawings, photographs, etc. At the same time, the case is as informative as possible, includes different points of view, and also examines current problems of biology.
