- Abstract:
- Abstract: children with mental retardation experience significant difficulties in developing motivation for schooling. The lag in neuropsychic development, the characteristic features of the development of perception, attention, memory, and the peculiarities of the course of mental activity provoke difficulties with the assimilation of knowledge, adaptation to educational requirements, and the development of the curriculum. This makes it difficult for children with mental retardation to develop motivation for schooling and requires special attention to the study of this problem.

- Abstract:
- The chapter raises the problem of using a projective approach in the activities of a school psychologist working within the framework of the model of psychological-pedagogical support of first-graders, as well as newly arrived students in other classes of primary school, at the stage of their adaptation. It is shown that psychological and pedagogical support solves important tasks of prevention, prevention and correction of many mental phenomena that can be actualized during the adaptation period. It is clear that isotherapy is a tool that allows you to understand and express hidden feelings and fears, which is the first step on the way to the child's mental health and well-being. Special attention is paid to the use of drawing as a method of isotherapy and a means of diagnostic work of a psychologist in the specified period of the school life of a child with limited health opportunities. The effectiveness of the application of the analysis of color choice and the drawing process itself, used in the diagnosis of the psycho-emotional sphere of a child with special needs, during the period of adaptation to school education, has been confirmed.

Features of mnemic activity in children with ZPR: results of an experimental study
Research ArticleDevelopment of education Volume 6 No 4- Authors:

- Psychology in Education
- Abstract:
- The purpose of the study is to identify the features of mnemic activity as part of its structural components in older preschool children with mental retardation. Tasks: to identify typical and individual features of the development of mnemic activity in children with mental retardation in comparison with their normally developing peers; to identify specific features in the development of indicators of each structural component of mnemic activity in children developing normally and with mental retardation. The hypothesis of the study: mnemic activity as part of its structural components in 5-6-year-old children with mental retardation is characterized by specific features in comparison with normatively developing children. Research methods: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific literature on the research problem, ascertaining experiment, quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data obtained, methods of their interpretation. Results of the study: the paper presents a comparative characteristic of the features of mnemic activity as part of its three components: motivational, target, operational and technical in children 5-6 years old with ZPR and their peers of the normative variant of ontogenesis. It has been established that children aged 5-6 years with mental retardation have a lower level of MD compared to normative preschoolers. In the structure of mnemonic activity, the “leading” component is the motivational one: preschoolers with mental retardation exhibit a stable, emotionally positive attitude towards accepting the task and the content of the mental activity. The target component is characterized by a lack of understanding of the meaning of the activity being carried out, as well as the mnemonic task itself, the inability to independently accept and maintain the goal of remembering, extremely low values of the volume of reproduced information. The operational and technical component of this type of activity is very weak: there is a dominance of mnemonic techniques of a mechanical nature, or their absence, as well as poor awareness of them, making a large number of errors during reproduction, lack of independence in performing the proposed tasks, turning to an adult for help in the process of control and MD assessments, or refusal of activities.

- Abstract:
- Preschool education is the first stage of continuing education, which is the foundation in the field of education and upbringing. In the approximate adapted basic general education program of preschool education, targets are prescribed, which are the possible achievements of the child. It depends on the age and degree of mental retardation, the health group of the preschooler. These indicators should be as close as possible to the end of preschool education. The higher the indicators, the better the child will study at school. The education and upbringing of a child in a preschool educational institution provides for the creation of pedagogical conditions for high-quality pastime and socialization of the child, the implementation of psychological and pedagogical support. The analysis of the teachers' works showed that they adhere to the classical way of presenting the material, which is not effective enough.

- Abstract:
- The article deals with the study of the dynamics of the formation of the "I" image in primary school children with mental retardation. As a result of the author's empirical study of the features of the formation of the "I" image of younger schoolchildren, it was revealed that their "I" image is characterized by cognitive simplicity, weak differentiation, low hierarchization, insufficient degree of clarity and consistency, incompleteness, as well as an insufficiently high level of self-esteem. By the dynamics of the formation of the "I" in this article, the author means both differences in the features of the image of the "I" of the 1st and 3rd grade subjects representing 2 experimental groups of the study, and a comparison of the features of the "I" of younger schoolchildren before and after the implementation of measures for psychological correction. The author has compiled and proposed a program of correctional and developmental activities. It is assumed that its implementation in th
