the history of studying the problem of giftedness is analyzed, the main approaches to organization of learning process and development of a gifted child are defined, as well as the social and psychological qualities that must be taken into account when working with gifted children are characterized.

As a description of the family crisis, we present the results of a study of factors that affect the manifestation of marriage satisfaction and conflict in young families and the psychosocial work with the family in a crisis situation that corresponds to the data obtained.
