Автор статьи отмечает, что историческая память является динамичным и многогранным феноменом, который играет ключевую роль в формировании национальной идентичности, одновременно объединяет и разделяет. В России она служит инструментом консолидации общества. В зарубежном опыте историческая память нередко становится основой политических дискуссий.
