As an example, the work on a project on the theme “Baba Yaga: good or evil?”, During which students performed tasks in accordance with the characteristics of their group: moviegoers, book lovers, sages, artists, is shown.

- The teacher is a significant figure in the formation and development of the student's personality. In this regard, the task of preparing a primary school teacher of a new type is relevant. This article discusses such a topic of educational development in the Russian Federation as conditions for increasing the professional competence of an elementary school teacher. The urgency of the problem is caused by the strengthening of the requirements in all spheres of labor activity for professional training in the conditions of a market economy. The author dwells on the analysis of those qualities that are necessary for a modern primary school teacher to meet the needs of society in bringing up an adaptive, highly intelligent and free individual with basic competences and capable of subsequent adequate self-determination in the professional sphere. The teacher’s figure in the work is viewed as a tutor and facilitator.

- The article deals with the development of psychological knowledge in higher pedagogical education in Russia at the turn of the XIX–XX centuries. An explanation of the change in psychological knowledge is given, in connection with the historical fact of the definition of psychology as an independent science and its separation from the boundaries of philosophy during this period of time. Teaching institutions of Russia of the end of the XIX century are described, the content of education in them is explained, as well as the essence of higher pedagogical education of that time. The article also describes the higher pedagogical education of the beginning of the 20th century, in particular, the post-revolutionary period. The forms, essence and content of this formation are shown, as well as the level of contradictions that have arisen in the formation of that time.

- The article discusses the main features of the kindergarten educational environment for the development of preschool children’s self-consciousness. The authors provide a general description of the children's self-consciousness with a general speech underdevelopment, describe the main areas of work on the development of self-awareness with this category of children. As the authors note, the development of the ability to analyze and to evaluate what is happening, as well as familiarity with various social roles, contributes to leveling existing difficulties in interacting with society in children with general speech underdevelopment, allows preschoolers to become more self-confident, to embed a positive self-concept and increase the level of claims.

- The monograph deals with issues relating to research on the socio-psychological characteristics and life prospects of the educator’s personality - concepts, history of development, methods and techniques. In order to fulfill functions and achieve good results in professional activities, an educator, possessing a set of socio-psychological features and important qualities in terms of professional, should plan his activities. The educator needs to build a future perspective and fruitfully realize his life path. According to the results of the research conducted within the framework of social psychology, the conclusion was made: the life perspective of educators is subjective and determined by the characteristics of their socio-psychological characteristics, their psychological well-being, level of resilience, specific content characteristics of the awareness of their inner world «I», of their past, present, and future. The theoretical significance of the work lies in the fact that the study presents a theoretical justification for the definition of the concepts of socio-psychological characteristics, life and time perspectives of the educator’s personality. Some features of these concepts are revealed. Practical significance is to be identified within the framework of those aspects of the problem being studied, which the authors will solve in perspective. Problems of teaching Russian in schools for blind and visually impaired children

- The article deals with the state of both the general and the special methods of the Russian (native) language. From the standpoint of current requirements, the state of the methodology of teaching Russian language in typhoid pedagogy is analyzed, in particular, the work of such typhoid pedagogues as M.I. Zemtsovoy, V.A. Mylnikova, N.S. Kostyuchek, I.L. Morgaylik, as well as I.P. Chigrinova. The work identifies the range of problems to be solved. As an answer to one of such questions, a route for linguistic competence formation in blind adolescents in the process of learning Russian is proposed, aimed at the development of functional literacy and the implementation of correctional and developmental activities.

- Application builder (and appropriate script language) NeoBook is presented to attention of beginners in programming and teachers of informatics and information technologies in secondary and high schools. It allows to create qualitative applications of practically any form and view for Windows OS . Strong sides and limits of this programming technology are formulated. Advantages of NeoBook are shown both for learning programming "from zero" and for everyday practice of creating computer applications. In the end of the article there is a conclusion that NeoBook can be successfully learned as the first language of programming and it can be used as full-fledged application builder by people of any specialty who wish to automatize some task processing and get new possibilities.
